I'm currently working a part time job, and I would love to take your dog for a walk, play with them, or simply keep them company while you're away! I'm available 9am - 9pm Mon, Wed, Thu, but am somewhat flexible on weekends for house sitting.

I have a fenced backyard and 2 energetic Siberian Huskies that are very friendly and play well with new dogs; I take them to the Newton dog park often and they absolutely love it! I can provide a crate for a medium - large dog if needed/requested. My dog sleeps in my room with an open crate so she can sleep in her crate or just on the floor. I have plenty chew toys, everything from tennis balls to rope toys to an assortment of squeakers!

Just kind of an overview of the dog's personality and the kind of activities it usually enjoys. For example one of my dogs absolutely loves fetch and will happily play it for hours onend, while another one of my dogs would rather sit next to you and get all the belly scratches in the world. The more I know about what the dog enjoys, the more I can cater to that and make sure they have a great time and are comfortable! I would also need to know about any medical or behavioral issues, such as if they need any special meds, or if they have any past trauma from a potentially abusive owner such as if they're a stray/rescue, etc. My top priority is making sure the dog is safe and comfortable, so if there's any information that will help me make that happen, it's more than welcomed!
A typical day
I have a big fenced in backyard that I love to let them run around in, play fetch, and splash in a kiddy pool during the Summer time. I also love to take them to the Newton dog park and socialize with the other dogs as well as run around and play. Walking along the river bike path in Newton is also another favorite, as well as just hanging out at the house playing tug of war and getting lots of belly scratches.

I've been a volunteer at Caring Hands Humane Society for 4+ years, and in January of 2022 I raised a litter of 6 Pomsky puppies! I have a 4+ year old orange Siberian Husky, and I've grown up with a couple family dogs, so I've always been around animals and want to pursue an animal related career!

Joanna has watched Asher in my home multiple times. He is always excited to see her. She plays with him and interacts with him throughout the time she is here with him. I appreciate the pictures and videos she sends. She is always on time and is dependable.
Joanna was flexible with the time which helped me out so much. Asher loves her already and doesn’t want her to leave. He is full of energy and you can tell he enjoys her being here.
Joanna showed up on time, communicated with me beforehand, sent pics and videos of my fur baby while I was gone, and you could see how happy he was in the pics and videos and when I returned home. Appreciate her love for animals!
Joanna is very responsible and a Huge animal lover! She has volunteered at the local humane society for years and also at Tanganyika Zoo. She has helped care for a variety of friend's pets as well. She is also a dog owner, so understands how much you love and care for your pets! She will take good care of your animals!
