I’ve taken care of dogs (owned/fostered) since 2016. I have experience with large breed (~75lb) senior dogs and dogs with leash reactivity. I treat all dogs as if they were my own.

Joann was super responsive when planning for the stay. She asked great questions that showed her experience and familiarity with dogs, and specifically in caring for dogs who may be reactive. I would love to book with her again!
Gus had a wonderful time with Joann again! He was so excited to see her this morning that he was shaking with happiness as we drove down her street and couldn’t wait to run up to her door. We know he will be well taken care of in great hands when we drop him off and that gives us such peace of mind. He most definitely looks forward to his next staycation! 🐾

Joann is an excellent dog sitter. She was very patient with our dog Pepper. She was also very communicative with us while we were away which gave us great comfort. Highly recommend her to take care of your pet while traveling.
We were worried about leaving Zeus with someone for two weeks, but Joann was very responsive and sent us daily updates and pictures/videos of Zeus, which cheered us up a lot on our trip. She was super attentive and was very diligent with giving/applying his medications. He is also reactive, but Joann was confident in handling him for walks. Joann always ensured that he was well loved and cared for, and we were able to rest easy during our trip knowing he was always enriched in Joann’s care. She always goes above and beyond for Zeus as if he’s her own, and we could tell her really missed her when we picked him up. Joann is our go-to sitter for Zeus and we would highly recommend!!
Joann is the best! Josie loves her and her home, she hardly wants to leave when I come to pick her up.

Schedule
I work from home full-time so I am available for walks during the day! I’m available from about 9am-6pm with some flexibility into the evening.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard. There are no other pets in my home. Dogs staying at my home are able to make themselves at home and I have all necessary supplies (water/food bowl, dog beds). I do not own a crate so please bring that if you’d like your dog to use it during their stay.
A typical day
I will accommodate your dog’s walking and feeding schedule. I work from home so I will be able to keep an eye on them and take them out for breaks during the day. Your dog will have free rein in my house and fully fenced yard - they can sunbathe on my deck! I’ll take them on leashed walks in my neighborhood per your guidance.
