I’ve lived in Newport Coast for over 32 years, raised three children, and have spent decades caring for dogs as beloved family members. I’ve had three dogs of my own, each with different needs — including a blind dog, a very active dog, and one who experiences anxiety — which has given me a deep appreciation for patience, gentleness, and consistency. I’m a loving, attentive, and reliable caregiver with a calm presence. I enjoy being outdoors and truly value the one-on-one connection that comes from walking and caring for dogs.

We were going on a ski trip and my usually dog sitter was on vacation. I used Joann and I cannot tell you the peace of mind she gave me. She watched Penny our 15 year old Malta-poo and took her on walks and gave her love and attention. She sent me me a couple pics each day and I would see Penny smiling. She really does smile when she is happy. I really do honestly highly recommend her.
Joann is THE BEST! She has taken care of my 14 year old dog, Miso, over the last 10 years while I have been on family vacations or weekend trips. She is caring, loving and so kind. She is extremely communicative and sends me daily pictures of Miso. I know I have peace of mind when Miso is being taken care of by Joann and I always come home to a happy dog!
