I work part-time from home, which means I have a flexible schedule that I largely get to set myself. That gives me plenty of availability throughout the day for walks and drop-ins. If I have enough advance notice, I'm usually able to work around your dog's routine, whether that's a midday walk while you're at work or a quick drop-in for feeding and playtime. I aim to be responsive and easy to communicate with if your schedule shifts or you need to adjust timing.

Since I only offer walks and drop-in visits (no boarding or in-home stays), all care happens at your home, on your dog's turf and routine. I'll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, leash preferences, door/gate locks, and any specific quirks your dog has. I always double-check that doors and gates are securely closed before leaving, and I send photo updates so you know your pup is safe and happy. I treat your home with the same respect and care I'd want for my own.

Pet care experience
I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember! It started with walking my Nana's dogs growing up, and that love has stuck with me ever since. I'm also a lifelong cat lover. I grew up playing with my cat Bella as a teen into adulthood, so I'm just as happy doing drop-ins for kitties as I am walking dogs. Today I have my own dog, a handsome lab-mix named Naveen. I trained him from a beginner's class through advanced training, earning his Canine Good Citizen certification, and then moved on to agility training together. That means I'm comfortable with pups who need structure, exercise, and mental stimulation, not just a walk around the block. Whether it's a high-energy dog needing a good outlet or a senior dog needing a gentle, patient companion, I pay close attention to each dog's individual pace and comfort level. I'm reliable, communicative (photo updates with every visit!), and I treat every pet like my own.

I have witnessed JoAnn as an amazing dog parent, trainer, and dog sitter. My own dog is not social, quite anxious, and very unsure with anything or anyone new ( especially other dogs ). I asked JoAnn to help me introduce my dog to her and her dog so when visiting not only could we enjoy each other's company but our dogs could enjoy each other too. JoAnn taught me to introduce dogs on leash in neutral area and taught me to understand and read the cues my dog gave on her comfortableness with the interaction. Nothing was ever forced, it did take some time, and multiple visits, but my dog is now very happy to have both JoAnn and her dog come to visit. JoAnn has such a love of dogs and I'm so thankful for her wisdom that she shares to help me make my anxious dog more calm in her own being and with her surroundings. I highly recommend JoAnn with any care needed for any dog!
I highly recommend JoAnn as a pet sitter and dog walker. She has cared for my dog on multiple occasions, including extended stays of a week or more, and she has consistently gone above and beyond my expectations. She is incredibly dependable, caring, and attentive. She made sure my dog received plenty of exercise through walks and trips to the dog park, reinforced his training, and gave him lots of love and attention. Throughout my time away, she kept me updated with photos, videos, and messages, which made me feel completely at ease. I trust JoAnn without hesitation and would confidently recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, compassionate, and trustworthy pet caregiver. She genuinely loves animals, and it shows in the way she cares for them!
JoAnn has always been caring and attentive to animals, and has further proven to have the utmost best interest at heart for her own dog that she adopted 3 years ago. She has studied a lot about dog behavior and training which has allowed her reactive dog to build confidence and flourish, and I am positive she will have a great impact on the pets she cares for for others! She is great at reading animal body language and meeting them where they are at so they can be comfortable and successful.
