If you have a fenced yard, I’ll make sure to get them plenty outside time for play. If not, I’m happy to take them for walks throughout the day. I’ll make sure to clean up after them so your home stays nice and tidy while you are away. I can give them a bath if needed and time for tricks and treats if you allow!

Pet care experience
I am the youngest of 4 girls and we always got the same pets together. But for some reason, my pets always lived the longest! I like to think its because I took the time to train, play and love on my pets. My first pet was when I was 7: a hermit crab. Then a finch, a parakeet, a hamster and a rabbit. My hamster even knew his name, Ted, like a teddy bear. So when all the hamsters escaped their cage, only Ted came back! When my family got our first dog, Kovu, I quickly became his best friend (after my dad, of course). I taught him sit, down, shake, spin and roll over. We got a second dog, Hercules, who I taught all those tricks to as well as beg! Herc was a little more agile than Hunky Kovu. Kovu went on to learn how to retrieve their dog bowls for dinner and to help carry bags of trash to the trashcan or groceries to the house. As Herc got older, he became more anxious. So I’d give him extra cuddles every 4th of July and put on his vest that felt like a hug around him. Both Kovu and Herc have gone on to Dog Heaven after 14 years of life each. And I’ve gone on to live with a roommate with a very skiddish, anxious dog to owning two rescues with my Husband, Jax and Milo. They too, know all the tricks I taught my family dogs and have learned to be great around our 6-month old baby.
Reviews
Joana Legg is truly a top‑notch pet caregiver. It’s obvious from the start how much she genuinely loves animals and cares for them with real intention and heart. She treats every pet as if they were her own, always keeping their best interests in mind. Joana takes the time to bond with each pet—she knows their favorite scratch spots, which toy they love most, which park makes their tail wag the hardest, and even when they’re feeling happy, nervous, or ready for a cozy afternoon nap. I’ve personally seen her love and adore every animal she’s met, and that care shines through in everything she does. Anyone who chooses Joana to care for their pet won’t regret it—they’ll gain someone who truly loves their furry family member. 🐾💛
Joana took exceptional care of Ropyr, Aria, and Goose. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly has a genuine love for dogs. Each of them was happy, well-cared for, and comfortable in her care. I would absolutely trust Joana again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and compassionate with their pets.
I would absolutely recommend Joana to watch your fur babies! We love her. She has done drop in visits for me several times for a week at a time. My little dog loved her, she is very caring of meeting your pets needs. The perfect sitter.
