I currently own a Border Collie named Hendal, and I have also cared for several other dogs throughout my life, gaining hands-on experience with different breeds and temperaments. I volunteered with an organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for stray dogs, where I developed a deeper understanding of animal needs, behavior, and trust-building. Although my previous work experience includes various roles outside the animal field, my goal is now to fully dedicate myself to working with dogs. I am reliable, attentive, and motivated to learn and grow in a professional environment involving animal care and handling. I am fluent in French, English, and Portuguese, with conversational Spanish, which allows me to easily communicate with diverse clients and teams.

Schedule
My daily routine revolves around the care and wellbeing of animals. In the morning, I start by refreshing their water, feeding them, and taking care of any small cleaning tasks such as maintaining my snakes terrarium when needed. Before work, I take my dog out for a walk. During my lunch break, I return home to walk him again for about an hour, focusing on exercise, play, and basic training to support his behavior and energy balance. In the afternoon, he stays with me while I study, as I make sure he receives constant attention, affection, and companionship throughout the day. In the evening, I take him out again, give his medication when needed, and often brush him to maintain his coat. Caring for animals is a continuous responsibility in my daily life, but also something I truly enjoy and value. My cat is more independent, but by night she comes join me for attention.

At home, I ensure daily feeding, fresh water, exercise, grooming, and emotional attention, along with any required medication or basic health monitoring. I also maintain clean and safe environments, including litter boxes, outdoor areas, or enclosures such as aquariums or terrariums when needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their established routines and environment to minimize stress. I follow all given instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking times, training guidelines, and medication administration. I also ensure the home remains clean and secure, and I provide regular updates to the owner for peace of mind. My approach is based on reliability, observation, and building trust with each animal.
