Retired Dog Lover with Large Fenced
I’m a retired animal lover who has owned dogs all my life, including both small and large breeds such as Shih Tzus, Boxers, and Labradors. Since retiring, I’ve realized how much I miss having dogs, and caring for other people’s dogs has been the perfect solution, and I absolutely love it. My home is quiet, calm, and perfect for dogs. I live in a house with a large fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, run, and enjoy lots of fresh air. I've never been great at writing reviews, so normally I don't... but Joan was so friendly, loving, and happy to take care of our pup Lincoln that I have to say something. We truly appreciated her approach and how she met with us in advance to make sure everything was a good fit, and gave us comfort by seeing her home and backyard for Lincoln to run and play in. Schedule
Because I am retired, I am home most of the time, which means your dog will receive plenty of attention, exercise, supervision, and companionship. I enjoy the time together as much as your dog. 😊

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs staying with me will enjoy a calm, loving environment where they will be treated like part of the family. I don’t take dogs out for neighbourhood walks (my own feet betray me from walking long distances 😉), but I make sure they get lots of exercise and playtime in my large (and safe) fenced backyard. I spend time outside with them playing fetch, tossing balls, and keeping them active. My goal is always to make sure dogs feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you are away.
A typical day
Being retired, my day revolves around your furry family member! A typical day starts with ensuring they have a bathroom break and fresh food and water. Throughout the day we spend time inside and outside, playing, throwing balls, and overall just hanging out. Although I don’t take the pooches for outside for walks, they get loads of exercise running around and sniffing my yard. I can take pictures throughout their day and send them to you.
