I am almost always home so pets are never home alone. We were so saddened by the recent death of our beloved Cavalier. Working with Rover has given me more dogs to love and cuddle.

I prefer small dogs that are under 25 lbs. Most of my dog experience has been with small breeds. Two Mini-Poodles, one Westie, one Golden Retriever (our only large dog) and our Cavalier King Charles who passed away recently. So sad.

We live on a quiet cul-de-sac. Perfect place for walking dogs. Also have a fenced in back yard for exercise and playing. Love to cuddle with small dogs.

I also invite friends that don’t have fenced in backyards to bring their small dogs to play in our fenced in backyard. No charge! Love small dogs. So sad that our last dog, a Cavalier passed away recently. I am home almost all the time. Dogs are never alone. I would treat them as lovingly as we have treated our deceased dogs. Cuddling with dogs is good therapy for them and us humans. We so miss all of our previous dogs. :( I am also experienced with dogs with disabilities such as totally blind and deaf.

Illy had a wonderful stay with Joan and her husband. She was perfectly happy when I picked her up! Full belly and clearly slept well! No anxiety at all. We will definitely rebook with them in the future!

Joan is an amazing sitter! It was my second time leaving my sweet senior pup with her and she was excellent again. Super great communication and very flexible with pick up timing. Highly recommend!
