Pet care experience
Your fur baby’s best friend!
Though I didn’t grow up with dogs due to family allergies, I spent four years in college volunteering at a local humane society, caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to three pups: Teddy, my energetic Chow Chow; Sammy, my sweet 13-year-old Lab mix who needs extra senior care; and Mowgli, my calm 10-year-old, 50-pound Chow Chow–Husky mix. Caring for dogs with different energy levels and needs has taught me patience, attentiveness, and flexibility. I treat every dog like family and provide a calm, safe, and loving environment.

Joan was AWESOME! I would give 10 stars if I could, they were prompt with updates and photos. Definitely professional and pet friendly and loving couple!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing sitter! Joan and her family took exceptional care of my dog, Rocket. They truly welcomed him as part of their family, which made all the difference. I received daily updates, and she was always quick to communicate any concerns. They gave me complete peace of mind during my 2+ week vacation, knowing Rocket was in such good hands. He even made new friends and clearly had the time of his life! I highly recommend Joan and will absolutely be booking with her again!

Joan and her family did a great job taking care of Kaia! She always sent pics and updates. Kaia was happy to play with the dogs and seemed to have a blast during her stay!

Thanks for taking such good care of Cora! I really appreciated all the updates and photos! I will definitely book with Joan again.

100% would recommend Joan for your pet sitting needs. She watched my almost 15 year old EllieMae who needs special attention and was very patient and attentive to her. I appreciated the pictures and updates she provided as I worried how everything would go. She put my worries to rest.
Joan took amazing care of my pup! She provided great communication with pictures and videos everyday and I truly felt confident that my dog was in the best hands. We will definitely be re booking with her!

Schedule
I work from home, and my schedule is built around my dogs’ needs. Our fenced-in yard gives them safe outdoor time, but I also prioritize regular walks and enrichment. Each morning starts with a 15-minute walk before breakfast, and at noon I take them out for a potty break while administering my senior dog’s medication. In the late afternoon, we go for a longer 30-minute walk, and throughout the day, I make time for play and engagement between meetings. Caring for my dogs is a natural part of my daily routine, and I bring that same attentiveness to every pet I look after.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I only host dogs in my own home, where they’re treated like family alongside my three pups, Teddy, Sammy, and Mowgli. With a fenced yard, daily walks, enrichment play, and plenty of love and supervision, I make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and at home. I’m experienced in senior and special-care needs, including administering medication, and I tailor routines to match each dog’s energy level, personality, and preferences.
Pets
A typical day
I love keeping dogs active, happy, and engaged! Depending on their age and energy level, that might include daily walks around the neighborhood, playtime in my fenced yard, or enrichment games to keep their minds busy. For high-energy pups, I’ll add extra play sessions like fetch or tug-of-war, while for senior dogs, I focus on gentle strolls, cuddle time, and comfort. No matter the activity, my goal is to make sure each dog feels loved, entertained, and right at home.
