I love all animals. The joy and love you receive back from taking care of pets is wonderful. I have been a pet owner for many years but at this time in my life I have no pets of my own. I have had 2 dogs one was a Australian German Shepard mix and the other, a Malamute. So, I have had experience with large dogs. I decided to offer my services to take care of others pets (family) to provide a safe and happy home environment. I have a large fenced back yard to play in and enjoy walking the Simcoe Loop trail. I have had experience taking care of other people’s dogs and can provide references if required. It would give me great joy to take care of your family member.

Joan is a great provider of dog care! My dog Romeo definitely felt very at home with Joan and all went well with his boarding at Joan's house. Joan provided lots of pictures and updates and clearly took great care of Romeo during his recent stay. I strongly recommend booking with Joan if you can! She is GREAT!
I left my 2 dogs with Joan this past weekend. Boarding my dogs in the past has been highly stressful for both myself & my dogs but a pre-meeting between Joan & my dogs made it so much easier. They liked Joan right away. When I dropped them off when we were set to leave & they headed right for her door with wagging tails. Joan sent some pics & updates to let me know all was going well. I was able to enjoy my time away without worry. Highly recommend Joan.
Joan took wonderful care of our dog Ellie! She was available for a last minute booking and provided updates throughout the stay. Joan had a fenced in yard and clearly loves dogs. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and use her again when we are in the area!
Joan was very responsive when I reached out to book for my senior beagle. She is very friendly and accommodating and sent us lots of great pictures and updates while we were away. We will absolutely book with Joan again!
My husband and i were skeptical about leaving our 6 yr old shipoo with anyone, but wanted a vacation. After doing research on rover we found Joan. Not only is she a wonderful, kind person, we discovered her love for animals. 2 weeks is a long time, but Joan sent pictures and updates daily about our beloved Gus. After a few days, because of Joan, we were able to enjoy our holiday. I would definately recommend Joan to leave your fur babies in her care. It's a decision you'll never regret! Schedule
I am currently retired and available 7 days a week. When I'm with your dog/cat they have all my attention as they are my priority.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard but never leave a dog outside on its own. I make sure my home is dog proof so that your dog is safe and feels comfortable at my house.
A typical day
I love to walk the Simcoe County Loop trail. I have a big back yard for playing ball and throwing a frisbee. Cuddles and tummy rubs are also part of the day.
