I grew up with dogs and have a deep love for animals. My partner, Jeff and I adopted our dog Miso in early 2025, so we know from experience the “puppy blues” that can come with a new addition. We already have repeat clients and frequently dog-sit for friends, coworkers, and neighbors. We have experience caring for senior dogs, as well as post-spay care and administering medications from caring for own pup.

Joan is a fantastic and attentive pet sitter. She’s boarded my puppy beignet on multiple occasions and has provided daily photos & updates. Beignet is an energetic puppy with an incredibly social personality. Beignet adores Joan and gets so excited for every stay. She’s prompt in communicating availability, pickup and drop off updates. Will absolutely use her services again.
Joan has been an animal lover since forever, whether it be a childhood friend’s pet, dog sitting for family, and even now having her own dog. She has a lot of patience and care put into her dog, Miso, to ensure that she has the best possible quality of life in her household. She puts a lot of priority to ensure this, making her the first person I’d go to with any pet concerns!

Schedule
Jeff and I both work full time on flexible hybrid schedules, so there will always be someone home during your dog’s stay. Our pup’s routine includes potty breaks in the morning, afternoon, evening, and one final outing before bed. Your dog will follow the same schedule unless they require a more specialized routine or level of care — we’re happy to accommodate their needs! Dog park visits are a regular occurrence as well.

We don’t have a fenced yard, but our neighborhood is very dog-friendly with plenty of green space for your pup to explore and sniff to their heart’s content. Miso is crate-trained, and we also have additional crates available if your dog is more comfortable being crated as well.
Pets
A typical day
We typically do 3 walks a day + quick potty break before bed. We live near a few dog parks so lots of options there for additional activity. If we’re staying indoors, we have options of puzzles, sniff mats and toys for your dog to choose from! Miso is more than happy to share.
