Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away.

Joan has watched my dog Stone countless times - I know he's in the best hands and given the best care every single visit! Their home is comfortable, clean, and has plenty of space for your pet to play and lounge. They also have a large yard and private land for your pet to enjoy. Stone can be particular about other people, but he LOVES staying with Joan & Rodney - he gets so excited to see them every time! I'm a verified helicopter mom, but I never have to worry when Stone is staying with them as I always get plenty of updates and pictures while I'm away. It puts my mind at ease knowing he's being taken care of and spoiled like family. I highly recommend booking with Joan!
Joan was absolute perfection while we were away! She sent wonderful, photo-filled updates every day which gave us total peace of mind. Our dog Cooper can be anxious, but he came home completely relaxed and happy. They followed every feeding and medication instruction to the letter. We are already looking forward to booking them again!

Schedule
With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.
A typical day
The beauty of living in the country allows for lots of running, playing and sniffing areas on my several acre farm for your pup to get outside for play and exercise each day. I will be sure and send plenty of daily pics and updates, as I know how important that is and I always felt so much more at ease when I would get these myself of my pup while She was with a rover sitter.
