I am a lifelong dog lover; exercising, training, and loving dogs are my favorite jobs. I am trained in positive reinforcement behavior, and have a natural affinity for making dogs comfortable and relaxed. I believe strongly in the benefits of regular exercise and training, and make my own treats using only healthy ingredients. I am retired and all of my time is available to dedicate to your dog’s needs. Dogs deserve so much love and making them feel loved and cared for is my primary goal. Your dog is invited to the party! Joan was excellent with Soni! I unfortunately had to change plans a few times day of due to weather/fire conditions but she was very accommodating and helpful, even though I hated having to change them! Soni had a playmate at her house and she took wonderful care of both and sent me so many photos throughout the day. He was definitely in good hands!
Couldn't have been nicer. Communicate was prompt. Would use it again in a heartbeat.
Joan is the absolute best dog sitter, Bruce loves going to her house so much I think he almost likes her more than his parents. She provides wonderful adventures, excellent care, and gives lots of updates so you know your puppy is well cared for! Couldn’t be happier with her care.
7-star service!!! Joan went above and beyond to make sure my furry best friend had an amazing day. He got lots of walks in several pretty places throughout the day on trails and next to rivers and a lake. Joan kept me posted with several videos and pictures of them having such a great day. I felt so comforted and relieved that he was with Joan. Put all my concerns and worries right out the window.
Joan is fantastic!! My dog loves being with her and all the adventures he gets to go on. Meanwhile I don’t worry about him being well taken care of. I love all the videos and updates.
Joan helped us out for a last minute need and we’re happy we did. She took such good care of Lola. Lots of long walks -a Lola favorite - and wonderful attention. Joan provided regular updates with pictures and videos and was very accommodating on pickup/drop when we were running a little later than planned. Lola was all tuckered out and happy when we picked her up.

Schedule
I am retired and can be of assistance with flexibility. During the hot months, I prefer to exercise the dogs in the cool early morning hours starting at 5am. Colder months provide greater flexibility.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will be on a leash unless he/she is at the Dog Park (with your permission). If your dog prefers a crate, I will act appropriately.
A typical day
I do treat training (if permitted), and concentrate on providing a balance of sniffing opportunities and aerobic walking. Walking in our beautiful parks is my favorite activity; I bet your fur baby feels the same way.
