I am a lifelong dog lover; exercising, training, and loving dogs are my favorite jobs. I am trained in positive reinforcement behavior, and have a natural affinity for making dogs comfortable and relaxed. I believe strongly in the benefits of regular exercise and training, and make my own treats using only healthy ingredients. I am retired and all of my time is available to dedicate to your dog’s needs. Dogs deserve so much love and making them feel loved and cared for is my primary goal. Your dog is invited to the party! Our sweet Shipoo Digby had the best time spending 4days with Joan. He came home so happy and chill. I know he got the usual expert special attention the entire time from Joan! He was in the best care. And he will be back soon!
Joan is by far the most attentive sitter we know. She's wonderful with Roux. She's also very flexible. We had to cancel our last two days due to a medical emergency, and she was so accommodating. We also love all of the photos and videos she sends. You can see in them how happy Roux is with her.
I have used quite a few dog sitters on Rover. Joan is the best ever, hands down!! She takes him on tons of adventures and sends multiple photos and videos. I try to book her every time I am in the area!
We love Joan. So many videos and updates and super easy communication. Already rebooking! Our Sangie is getting old and has so many skin conditions and a heart condition- when we find someone as caring as lJoan, it feels like we hit the lottery.
Joan was very responsive from the beginning. She has a lovely, calm demeanor and the dogs seemed happy when we got home. Would use her again!
Joan was excellent with Soni! I unfortunately had to change plans a few times day of due to weather/fire conditions but she was very accommodating and helpful, even though I hated having to change them! Soni had a playmate at her house and she took wonderful care of both and sent me so many photos throughout the day. He was definitely in good hands!

Schedule
I am retired and can be of assistance with flexibility. During the hot months, I prefer to exercise the dogs in the cool early morning hours starting at 5am. Colder months provide greater flexibility.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will be on a leash unless he/she is at the Dog Park (with your permission). If your dog prefers a crate, I will act appropriately.
A typical day
I do treat training (if permitted), and concentrate on providing a balance of sniffing opportunities and aerobic walking. Walking in our beautiful parks is my favorite activity; I bet your fur baby feels the same way.
