How best to get his or her attention what are the routines feeding potty breaks, are they vaccinated. What activity’s do they like, no breed preferences as long as they have been socialised, some dogs have problems with cats and little dogs and have a high prey drive, so a dog like that would not work in my home, I would prefer to care for pets at my home so I can fully supervise and safely play with them. I walk with a cain due to a bad back.

I don’t know what sets me apart from other sitters I only know I will care for them as if they were my own and give them plenty of attention and play time outside. I LOVE animals, all animals and being around them is my favorite thing to do. I’m retired from UCD and have plenty of time on my hands. I have a variety of experiences with variety of pets from a pet monkey to a duck and a rabbit now I just have regular domestic pets dogs and cats and a cockatoo who I’ve had for 27yrs , named Bogie. All my pets are rescues and older. I have lived in Sacramento my whole life. I can supply references upon request. Thank You

Joan is fantastic. I got caught in travel craziness and she was entirely understanding, adaptable, and empathetic through all of it. My dog is high energy and has separation anxiety, but he always has a great time and comes home tuckered out.
Joan is amazing, she treats our dog like her own and it is obvious that she truly loves animals. We know our dog is in great hands with Joan.
Joan helped watched Major after a last minute cancellation from another sitter. She’s accommodating and Major was well taken care of. I will use her services again. Thank you, Joan!
