At the same time, I’m attentive and gentle with older pets who need a slower pace and more care. My background as a massage therapist and actor has sharpened my sensitivity to body language and emotional cues, which helps me connect deeply with animals. Joakim was very kind to our dog. His beautiful house is spacious, with an outdoor area, and is conveniently located close to Zaanse Schans. He took great care of our dog and was very responsive. During pickup and drop-off, everything went smoothly. He was waiting for us, and the process was very efficient. He even offered us tea. We will definitely reach out to him again if we return to the area.
I am very happy with Joakim! He took great care of Bilbo and Tigro—who is usually very shy—and made them both feel very comfortable and happy. I highly recommend him and will definitely call him next time I need a buddy for my cats

Joakim wandelt en zorgt goed voor onze 3 honden, die alle 3 hun eigen probleempjes hebben, dus dat kan best intensief zijn. Hij is heel geduldig en lief voor ze, altijd op tijd, een betrouwbare oppas/uitlater!
Joakim is a great dog sitter and took really good care of my dog while I was away. I received lots of updates and photos so I knew my little guy was having a lot of fun. He is really good at communicating, comes on time, and asks lots of questions to ensure that everything would go smoothly. Highly recommended!

Schedule
Although I currently work full-time during the day, I’m available for pet care in the early mornings, evenings, and overnight. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime, or stays outside regular office hours. I live in Wormerveer.

Depending on the pet’s energy and personality, a typical day could include walks in nature, playing fetch, exploring new smells, mental stimulation with games, or just cuddling and quiet companionship. I stay present and adjust the activities to what your pet enjoys most, making sure they feel loved and engaged throughout the day.
