PLEASE NOTE*** I am now working in the grooming department at Pet Supplies Plus from 9:00AM-5:00 PM. For overnight stays, your pet must be okay with being left alone for said amount of time. Jo found her passion in Animal Welfare professionally right after graduating high school-- at a Doggy Day Care facility and eventually moved on to our local Humane Society. She began working just two days a week scooping litter boxes. Her adoration for the animal's well-being was apparent; in just three years at HSSCG, she was promoted to several positions. One being her ultimate goal: working alongside and assisting the shelter's Veterinarian. Jo soon realized that the medical field wasn't exactly what she had dreamt and her true spark laid within the Behavioral and Welfare side. She extended her knowledge by working at other local Doggy Day Care/Boarding facilities. After a while, Jo was able to identify one of the biggest issues that not only the pet felt, but the owner as well: leaving the comfort of their own home. This realization made it possible for her to start her own In-home Pet Service "Ruffstafarian". Jo is trained to give your fur baby CPR in an emergency and to administer medication, whether orally or injected (SQ or IM). *Meet & Greets are required for new clients with dogs. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet Jo face to face and discuss your pet's day-to-day routine. Meet & Greets are free of charge.*

Jo watched our senior beagle at our house this past week and I can’t say enough good things about her. She texted frequently, was on time and was a great cuddle buddy for our pup. My work schedule fluctuates and she was extremely accommodating. We highly recommend Jo and will be using her again.
Our boys are our furry kids. It is very scary leaving them with someone new. We felt very reassured when we met Jo. I love the fact that she sends photos of them when she is with them. If the boys are happy, we are happy. Thank you Jo! ?
Again, we were pleased with Jo’s care of Dash and her quick responses to our questions. She maintained good communication with us while we were away.
I was worried about leaving our home and our Dash with someone we hardly knew, but We met with Jo several times. She was very gentle and Dash responded very well to her. Jo also provided us with recommendations so we could ask about her dependability. All three references gave glowing reviews about her care of their pets and reliability. Jo did an excellent job taking care of Dash. She respected our wishes in the care of our home and responded in a timely fashion with texts and pictures. We will definitely be using her again.
