Availability
Jo and Luke both work full time during the week, but we’re readily available for pet care on weekends, with Luke also available on some Fridays. We are occasionally free in the evenings during the week, so please feel free to enquire as we can be flexible! As we don’t currently have pets of our own, or any children, we’re able to be flexible with our time and fully focus on each pet’s routine, needs, and comfort. When caring for your pet, we make them a priority and ensure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship.

We love getting to know each dog as an individual, so it’s really helpful if owners can let us know about their exercise needs and any training cues they respond to so we can ensure consistency. Please also share details about temperament, energy levels, and how your dog interacts with other dogs, people, including children. For safety, we appreciate knowing about any medical needs, allergies, anxieties, or behavioural quirks (such as pulling on the lead or sensitivity to certain situations). The more we know in advance, the better we can prepare to ensure your dog feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for.
A typical day
A fun day with us is all about an enjoyable, stimulating walk tailored to your dog’s energy and personality. Luke loves being active and outdoors, so walks are varied, engaging, and never rushed, whether that’s a steady stroll for more relaxed dogs or a longer, more energetic walk for those who need it. We focus on safe, positive experiences with plenty of sniffing time, movement, and mental stimulation, along with gentle reinforcement of good walking manners. Every walk ends with a happy, content dog who’s had both physical exercise and attention along the way.

Hi, welcome to our page! We’re Luke and Jo, a caring and experienced pet-loving duo who have both grown up surrounded by animals. Jo has adored all dogs from a young age and has plenty of hands-on experience caring for family and friends’ pets, with a natural ability to read animals’ cues, needs, and values their unique, quirky personalities. Luke has also spent most of his life around animals, particularly cats and dogs, and has a strong interest in dog training. He’s confident teaching basic skills to dogs of any age, loves being active and outdoors, and is comfortable handling larger dogs. For bigger or stronger pets, Luke typically takes the lead on walks due to his strength, while we both provide attentive, loving care. Together, we offer a calm, fun, and nurturing environment where pets are treated like family, with plenty of love, structure, and enrichment.

Jo and Luke communicated well and Mabel seemed happy with them on her walk and was nice and chilled when I got home.
Jo and Luke are incredibly nice people and my dog loved them from the first moment she met them! They were easy to communicate with and available for a drop in visit with short notice! I loved seeing the photos they took with Lua and very happy that she had someone like them checking in on her during the day.
Jo and Luke are awesome pet sitters, and lovely people themselves! They have looked after our dog, Benji, many times, including stays of over a week, and Benji was always treated like part of the family. They make sure to give Benji great walkies, plenty of playtime, and lots of attention, and are genuinely invested in his wellbeing. They were always careful to follow Benji's routines and our special requests such as not giving Benji food from the table, which we appreciate. Whenever we go on holiday and Benji stays with them, we know we can fully relax and Benji always comes back happy boy
Luke and Jo have looked after my dog on many occasions, and I’ve always felt completely confident leaving her in their care. She’s a large American Bulldog cross, and both Jo and Luke are calm, patient, and confident with her. They’re attentive to her needs, reliable, and clearly love animals, and I can always tell she’s had long, stimulating walks and plenty of attention. I always know she’s safe, well cared for, and happy when she’s with them.
