I cannot bring animals into my apartment, but I am happy to come take care of your animals at your house! I can feed, walk and let out your dog as many times as they need, just let me know their routine. For cats, I am happy to accommodate any feeding or litter box changing schedule and provide play enrichment if desired.

A typical day
I love to play with and exercise dogs! I especially love taking dogs on long walks and hikes. My own dogs are pretty high energy and I am used to keeping up with them.

My family has owned dogs my whole life and I have pet sat for my friends, neighbors, teachers and professors for years. I became a cat owner a few years ago, and I exhaustively researched how to keep cats safe, healthy, and happy in preparation for the arrival of my little one. I am very familiar with the needs of puppies and kittens, as well as older animals as I have owned and cared for all ages. I absolutely adore all animals and I will take care of your pets as though they were my own. I am passionate about animal welfare and hope to open an animal sanctuary some day.

Jo is awesome. She did great with Penny, including managing an unexpected vet visit. Communicative throughout, super thoughtful about sharing photos, walking Penny, cooking for her, etc. I couldn't recommend her more.
Jo was an amazing dog sitter. She was very conscientious and communicated really well throughout her stay. We have a dog that doesn’t like to be left alone and she was very good about limiting time that she was away from him and taking him with her on outings and generally keeping him calm. Jo also took great care of our house. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
