I have shared my home and my heart with dogs throughout my entire adult life, giving me a deep, first hand understanding of canine behaviour, routines, and needs. From raising and training our beloved family dog from a puppy into a well-mannered companion, to recently providing dedicated, compassionate care for mine and my partners senior boy in his final years, I understand the unique joys and responsibilities that come with every stage of a dog's life.

Jo has looked after my dog in her house. She has provided 24h care for my springer spaniel and took her for walks around the beautiful woodland area where she lives. My dog warmed up to her really quickly so I knew they will go along well, and I didn't need to worry, even this was the first time I was leaving the dog with her. Jo is very friendly and easy going, but also reliable and responsible dog sitter and dog walker. I could definitely recommend her to any dog owner.
Jo has walked Stevie on several occasions and he loves spending time with her and going on adventure walks. She has also had him stay over when we were away for the night … he was happy when we picked him up! We will use Jo again soon.
Highly recommended! Jo is standard-setting when it comes to pet care! She regularly pops in to check on my cat and chickens while I’m away—always giving them their feeds and making sure my cat gets plenty of cuddles. Having previously owned her own dog, Jo truly understands what pets need and dogs adore her. I’ve recommended her to two friends who were equally thrilled with her boarding and walking services. She is reliable, lovely, and trustworthy.

Your companion will enjoy a highly active, engaging routine with plenty of dedicated play sessions, puzzles, and long, stimulating walks through the local countryside. Without the strict constraints of a standard working week, I can provide the continuous companionship, attention, and exercise your dog needs to stay happy, relaxed, and fully entertained.

I have a fully secure fenced garden where your dog can play, stretch, and relax with total freedom and directly behind the house lies a beautiful, private woodland, allowing us to step straight from the property into nature for quiet, enriching walks away from busy roads and public distractions. Inside, I maintain a genuine "home from home" philosophy- dogs are warmly welcomed onto the furniture and the sofas if that is what they prefer. I want your dog to feel completely part of the family whilst they stay with us.
A typical day
A typical day starts with some breakfast followed by a good run around in the woods, with lots of games and smells to explore. After a midday rest and some mentally stimulating puzzle toys, we head out for a shorter afternoon stroll, winding down with plenty of evening cuddles on the sofa.
