- I provide in-home house sitting and overnight pet care in the Denver metro area, with a focus on structured, routine-based care for pets who do best in familiar environments. - I maintain overnight presence during all house sits and provide consistent daily care aligned with your pet’s normal routine. - I work a hybrid schedule (in-office Mon–Thurs, remote Fri), which allows for dependable in-home pet sitting coverage. - I do have a small number of recurring evening commitments (typically ~2 hours), which I always communicate clearly before booking. - I only accept house sitting bookings where this structure is a good fit for the pet’s needs and comfort level.

Safety, trust & environment
I'm comfortable with all pets (those with fur, feathers, and quills, so far!) and know that each has their own personality and care needs. If it was clean when you left, it'll be clean when you return! I won't break anything you don't want broken and I won't meddle to fix anything you didn't ask to be fixed.
Information Jo Q. would like to know about your pet
Does your pet have any quirks? triggers? What are their favorite things to do? and their LEAST favorite? What's their temperament? around other pets? on walks? Is there anything I can do to make the transition of not having their loved one around easier? Teach me the commands (words and/or visual queues) you use so I'm speaking a language they understand! What rules do you have in place for them? Are they allowed on furniture? Any allergies or medication needs? How much exercise do you want them to have? Do they have any limitations? The more information I have about how to keep your animal(s) happy and healthy, the better they'll feel when you're home with them again! I'm a fan of details and want to ensure that the experience is as lovely as possible.
A typical day
For walks and playtime, I usually let the dog lead (unless there are instructions from the parent). I've found that helps build a bit of trust and familiarity between us so I'm not completely changing everything about the routines!

Calm In-Home Dog Sitting
Pet care experience
I provide calm, structured in-home house sitting and overnight dog care in the Denver metro area, specializing in routine-based care for senior dogs, anxious pets, and dogs requiring medication or consistent daily structure. With over 25 years of hands-on experience caring for pets and homes, I offer a steady, reliable presence that helps dogs remain comfortable in their own environment while their owners are away. My focus is on maintaining normal routines — feeding schedules, walks, medication timing, and bedtime structure — to minimize stress and disruption. I currently work a hybrid schedule, which allows me to provide strong overnight house sitting coverage and consistent daily in-home care. I am transparent about my schedule and only accept bookings where I can confidently meet the needs of the pet and household. I have extensive experience with senior dog care, medication administration, special needs pets, and dogs that require calm, predictable environments. I adjust my care style based on each dog’s personality — from structured activity and exercise to quiet companionship and low-stimulation care. Communication is a core part of my service. I provide clear, consistent updates so you always have peace of mind while you’re away. I also treat every home with care, respect, and responsibility throughout the stay. For safety and fit, I do not accept highly reactive or unsafe animal situations.

Reviews

Jo is everything you’d want in a cat companion and sitter for your babies! Look no further!

Jo is great! Was so loving with my sweet Mingo, communicative with updates and super thoughtful about the house. We are big fans!

Jo did an amazing Job watching our place! We have a lot of plants and animals and everything was looked after with tons of love. She did a great job keeping us updated and the place was spotless when we got home. Would 100% recommend!

Per usual Jo was patient and unphased by our senior pup who has lots of medications and some growing nighttime anxiety. She kept us in the loop and it was a relief being able to travel knowing he was comfortable. Thanks Jo!
