Hello, I'm Jo. I've always lived in a family with cats, in fact I was born into a family with more cats than kids. And it’s a running joke in our house that stray cats always move in with my parents, they just seem to find their way to us! My cats are the first thing I look for when I get home and the last 'person' I say goodbye to when I leave the house. I have so much love for these furry friends and love to share my time and home with them. I couldn't go a day without being around one. I have a tuxedo cat called Tallulah who is 9 years old and she loves to give me the occasional present which are usually birds, earth worms or the odd mouse! My cat sitting started by looking after my sister’s pair. They are house cats, and rather than use a cattery she wanted them to stay at home in their own environment. I pop round, spend time with the boys, make sure they eat and are well and often end up grooming them and playing their favourite game - laser dot! So Cat in a Flat seemed like a fantastic idea to me, and I’m only too happy to look after your four-legged furbaby while you go away, I’ll even feed the fish too and pick up your post! I’m used to dealing with fussy cats (mine can be a real diva) and know that some have very particular food habits and requirements, so I’m happy to take any instructions for your fur-babies. I live in Gravesend, and happy to cover the local area, including Higham, Swanscombe and Greenhithe, Longfield and Meopham and parts of Rochester.
