I’ve cared for dogs since I was 8, dealing with all sorts including puppies, traumatized dogs, and those with high grooming and energy needs. I have a great sense of dog behavior and know how important it is to trust your dog care provider, especially for dogs with specific needs. I love dogs and would love to provide you with high quality care!

I have experience with dogs with behavior issues and know very well how to read dog signals. My childhood dog came from a difficult previous home and we had to offer her a lot of support to trust us and stop her reactionary behavior. I know how to safely and kindly shut down any unwanted behavior and how to build trust with a dog, who naturally would need to get used to me when we first meet. I would give walks, play time, and build that trust with treats, tricks, and food. I know what it’s like to have your trust broken by a dog sitter/walker and how important it is to trust who cares for your pet. Safety and trust is my number one priority, closely followed by play and fun!

Jo was an amazing sitter! Our dog was immediately at ease, and we could tell she would be very well taken care of. Jo was great at communicating updates and photos, and Jo took excellent care of our house. Jo is outstanding with dogs! They have taken care of our dogs countless times. When we had our new puppy a few years ago, they were even able to consistently help with training her on the dog walks that Jo took both dogs on. Our dogs absolutely love Jo. I couldn't recommend Jo higher!

I work currently part time, so I have time to give potty breaks, walks, and play. I live right across from a park and ten minutes from Prospect Park.
