Your dog's 2nd BFF

I have 3 years of experience working as a veterinary assistant, taking care of animals at a shelter, and working at a pet resort. 7 years experience on Rover and doing in-home visits. I’m a Navy Veteran and a current student. I have experience administering medication, feeding, walking, and cleaning for both cats, dogs, and other small animals. I love all animals and I currently have a Shiba Inu of my own at home. I cannot wait to meet all of your pets: dogs, cats, etc.!

Jo is very courteous, reliable, and caring. I am confident that my two hyperactive dogs and one attention-needy cat were in good hands. Communication was outstanding and she is respectful of the pet's needs and property. Definitely recommend.

I can't say enough good things about Jo! We had a two week vacation planned for over a year. Normally my boys stay with friends or family, but as it turned out, no one was able to watch them. I did not want to board them as my dogs in the past always seemed traumatized when I picked them up. Jo housesat and watched our dogs in their own home. My smaller dog is a nervous guy, and the first night he was having trouble. Jo handled it with professionalism and great care. By the next day, both my guys warmed up to Jo, and after that all was well. Jo kept in touch with me during our trip, giving me updates and sending pictures. At the beginning of the trip I was somewhat nervous about our guys, but by the end of the trip I had no worries since I was confident they were in Jo's capable and caring hands. When we arrived home late at night, they were happy to see us but normal and not in the least traumatized. Thanks Jo so much... I think our guy are going to miss you!!!

I am a student at LSU. The longest break your pet will have is 4 hours while I am in class. I am free in the evenings and weekends.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Jo can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
I would like to know if they have and special health needs, dietary restrictions/food allergies, any special routines, their activity level, whether they are crate-trained, and/or anxiety/fear triggers. I also need to make sure I know where your vet is in case of an emergency. If your dog is staying at my house, especially, I would like to see proof of their UTD vaccinations.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
