I’m at home most of the time during the week so when I’m dog sitting, your dog will have access to frequent potty breaks and belly rubs rather than being left alone for 8 hours while I go to work. When I do leave to walk another dog, go to an appointment, or run an errand, I’m typically back within just an hour or two and if there’s a reason why that wouldn’t be the case, I typically let you know and make sure doggo has had a potty break before I leave.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment with a decent amount of green space so dogs can stretch their legs and sniff around and I have a dog of my own to keep your dog company. I can easily crate your dog if that is part of your routine. I am trained in canine first aid and CPR. Hopefully those skills will not be needed but sometimes a paw pad gets nicked while playing outside and a foot needs to be wrapped or medication needs to be administered—I can do it confidently (and let you know immediately, of course)

Information Jo B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs from high energy to medication to being a chewer to needing extra patience when finding the exact perfect spot to pee, I’m here to support your dog getting the best care they can get.
A typical day
I love to keep dogs stimulated physically and mentally. Laying around all day is fine for some dogs but not all so I know some games we can play both inside and out to get that energy out! I have a friend who has a fenced yard and a lovely pup do we can sometimes go over there for play dates instead of a traditional dog park. Everyone loves some off leash time!

Pet care experience
Like so many people, I grew up with dogs but I wasn’t in charge of actually taking care of them. It wasn’t until I started dog walking and sitting in college that I learned what is involved. Now, with my own dog I’ve leveled up as I’ve trained him. I’m trained in canine CPR and I’m able to administer medication to your dog if needed. Each morning you are away, I send “morning PUPdates” letting you know how the day before went—any highlights and struggles. If I stay at your house, you can expect your home will be at least as clean as when you left, if not cleaner. I know it’s the WORST to get home to a messy house. Because my dog and I are a package deal (he will come with me if I’m house sitting and be here if I’m boarding your dog), we will always do at least one meet and greet short walk to ensure everyone gets along. Safety is my priority!
