Hello! I'm Jo and I'll take care of your pet as if they were my own! I have worked as a vet assistant in a veterinarian's office and as the rescue, foster & adoption coordinator at the local animal shelter. I have over 25 years of personal experience and 5 years of professional experience taking care of pets of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I have cared for everything from bottle feeding puppies and kittens to geriatric seniors and pets with special needs. I administer meds, injections, insulin and have given IV fluids to cats and dogs with confidence. I will wipe tushies, pick eye boogies, take walkies, and even go for car rides if that's what your pet wants. Your pet will feel like they're at home away from home during their stay.

Jo was fantastic with Gizmo! She sent pictures throughout the stay, which I really appreciated. Gizmo came home happy and tired out from a great week—you could tell he had a blast. He got along well with Jo, Kayla, and Cricket, and it was clear he was well cared for the whole time. Highly recommend Jo for anyone looking for a sitter who treats your dog like part of the family!
George's first Rover experience went smoothly and he felt right at home. Jo's communication and photos were perfect and Cricket was a great host as well. Thank you!
Jo constantly provided updates and pictures. I have never seen my pup look so happy when he stayed with someone else as he did in the photos Jo sent. From the initial meeting, I was comfortable knowing we hit the jackpot with selecting Jo as a sitter. I have already booked his next stay and will continue to do so.

Jo is amazing!! She took both Hadley and CeeCee for the long weekend and they were very well taken care of. CeeCee is a little old lady who is very fearful and needy and she looked happy, well fed, well rested and loved in all of the pictures Jo sent! Hadley absolutely loves Jo and Cricket and he also came home happy!
Jo took wonderful care of Britta while we were out of town. Britta loved playing outside in her large fenced in yard. Jo’s sweet dog Cricket was the perfect playmate for the weekend. Jo was very accommodating when our schedule changed a bit for pick up. Jo made sure to send up plenty of pictures and updates through your Britta’s stay.

Schedule
My office is 3 mins away from home. My partner works from home during the week and is glad to tag in to help with pet care as needed. Doggy day care or boarding pets will rarely be left alone. On the rare occasion they are, it won't be for long.

Safety, trust & environment
I am happy to host your pet in my home. It's a single family home in a quiet neighborhood. There's a fully fenced yard and ample grass to roam or run zoomies and take care of business. There's one step up from the yard onto the deck and level entry from deck into the house. There's also a ramp for no-step entry from ground level into the house. Perfect for any pets with limited mobility. Pets are welcome on the furniture and there's even space to snuggle up in the bed if they're used to bunking up together at night. Our 9 year old female Yorkie is very dog-friendly and enjoys having company. She's a good playmate if your dog is up for a little tug on a toy or chase in the yard. She's also great at taking hints from dogs when they're done playing or want to be left alone. We would love to welcome you to our home for a meet and greet prior to booking to make sure everyone gets along before confirming your booking.

A typical day
I'm game to take your dog on walks around the neighborhood solo or together with mine. We can play fetch or tug in the back yard or putz around the garage working on home projects. Naps are grrreat!
