I'm an experienced pet parent and sitter, having spent the last few years providing a variety of pet support services in San Diego. I moved to the UK earlier this year to be with my wife and I'm looking forward to continuing my petsitting here in the Manchester area! I love the company of pets, seeing them as equal spirits so pay close attention to each animal, acknowledging that they all have their own special personalities. I have been petsitting since my teens and have spent years adopting various rescue cats, dogs and birds with their own health and personal preferences : ) This includes administering medicines to senior or sick animals, helping to rehome and socialise nervous or anxious pets and I most recently adopted a little rescue cat from the Mexican border who now lives in Manchester, happily ,with my wife, myself and our two other rescue cats! I adore French bulldogs but honestly - anything on 4 (even 3 or 2 in some cases!) legs with fur or feathers and I'm on board. I am a careful houseguest and visitor, so if you need me to stay over or spend time at your home I have previously been registered with Trusted Housesitters and will take care of your pet and your home if asked.

When I am at a client's home, I treat their space with care and respect. Every pet gets one-on-one time. My goal is to make sure my client's pets barely notice they are away.

JK has taken care of both my Golden Retriever pup and my Maine Coon cat multiple times, and they are an absolutely wonderful caregiver to them both! Not only did I get lots of pics every time I was away which was so reassuring, it's so easy to see they absolutely love JK! I am so grateful to have JK as an amazing caregiver to them both.
I have known JK for decades. She is a HUGE animal lover. Wherever she has lived, there are birds, cats, dogs in her life because of friends, homeowner or neighbor's pets, if not her own. She has not only pet-sitted for many of them, but the dogs literally go over to play and spend time with JK. They have also been known to hang outside anxiously waiting for her to come home. She sends me photos and it always brightens my day! Communicate any concerns you have or special instructions and then relax. Your furbaby will be much loved!

Schedule
If I have an early morning petsit on my calendar, I tend to the pet first before doing anything like exercise. I am self employed, so I can move my calendar around on a need-to basis.
