Retired gma (JJ)w time for your Pup
I’ve taken care of friends and families dogs while they’ve been away for years now. We have a 1/2 acre yard with a swimming pool and 8’ board on board fence w auto-gate. Our pup loves running and playing in our yard, he gets the Zoomies at 7, every night! We “open” the pool in the Spring and swim through Labor Day, well even later, as we do live in Texas, lol…

Barkley had the best weekend! We felt so comfortable and had updates throughout the weekend and he got along great with their dog Boots. Will definitely book again and highly recommend!
This was my dog’s first time staying at a home boarding, and she seemed to have a wonderful time. They were very kind and caring, and I really appreciated all the photos and updates they sent throughout her stay. It gave me peace of mind knowing she was well cared for.
JJ and Karla were amazing. They took care of Roo very well. I’d trust them with Roo again definitely!
JJ, Karla & Boots had our Zoey over for some dog sitting time, and they were great! Lots of play time, love time and fun time! They are so great with Zoey, and we get to see her enjoy her time with lots of updates and pics from JJ. We are so grateful to have found them and look forward to next time!
Amazing pet sitters as always! Winston loved his second stay with JJ, Karla & Boots. I got several fun pics/videos of him playing with Boots, his BFF 🐶
When we picked Piper up she was so happy to see us. Usually she wines like she is upset we left her but not with JJ & Karla- Piper had a great time!

Schedule
I’m a “stay at home” Grandma (JJ). So I have plenty of time to spend with your Pup. I have my grandsons a couple of days a week as well. So they’ll be a bonus for entertaining, extra loving and playtime with your pup.

Safety, trust & environment
We also have a 4-1/2yr old Standard Poodle (Boots), he has tons of energy (zoomies at 7 every evening), toys, pup friendly ice cream and healthy treats to share. Care in our home is based on each pups needs and dynamics. Pups are separated at meal times and bedded for comfort. Boots is kennel trained, but sleeps in the bed with me. Outdoor play is always supervised for safety, pups are never outdoors unsupervised. We do that simply to ensure pups personalities are compatible, for safety, also we have a pool and just because our backyard is large and a lot of fun!

A typical day
I love to stimulate Boots and our guests with games and puzzles. We also have an automatic ball launcher! Boots loves to run out and retrieve the balls and then bring them back and fake like he’s bringing it back to you, NOT, lol. But, it’s a lot more fun retrieving with a buddy to run and play with. When the weather provides, we love to go swimming in our pool and with permission, of course, we’re happy to go swimming with your pup too. It’s ok if they don’t want to, as Boots doesn’t always want to go swimming either. My Grandsons love all and any pups too, they have so much fun running around and playing with Boots and our guest pups as well.

- Please let me know if your pup is up to date on vaccines, share necessary vet info, any special diet, separation anxiety or allergy needs/requirements, their sleep schedule, sleep preferences (with Boots,he and I sleep in my bed or their bed), or any necessary medications they might be on. As well as, do I have permission to share Boot’s pig ears, duck/ beef liver treats, homemade healthy pup treats, pup ice cream (not sweet & dairy free), popcorn, peanut butter and organic fruits/veggies? May I take your pup with, on the rare occasion I have a grocery pickup?We have extra pup seat belts and a couple of extra harnesses, 1 large/XL and 1 small. Finally, is your pup allowed to go swimming with us IF we go swimming? I have extra pup life vests, if needed. Due to my Grandbabies asthma and allergies, I am better equipped to care for hypoallergenic/minimal shedding pups, ie. Any/All Doodles, Poodles, Any/All Terrier Breeds, Any/All Schnauzer Breeds, Bichon Frise, Shih Tzu, Maltese, Portuguese Chinese Water Dog, Havanese, Afghan Hound, Irish Water Spaniel, Lhasa Apso and basically any hypoallergenic breed of pup I may have missed on this list as well. Also, I do not have the ability to care for pups that are 10 years old or older. I have two small grandchildren that visit quite a bit and Senior pups temperaments seem to be a bit more challenging. Additionally, I only care for 1 pup at a time. I want to be able spend quality, enjoyable time with your pup and try to make their stay as familiar to their happy home life as possible, as well as care for them in a safe environment and be able to take great care of them too ♥️ Finally, I love giving daily updates, as well as sending photos and videos of your pup. Maybe too much love 😬You’ll know/see how your baby is doing every day♥️
