Disponibilité
I'm currently balancing part-time college and part-time work, so my availability on Rover shifts week to week. I pick up walks and drop-in visits when my schedule allows, so I may not always be available on short notice — but I'm happy to plan ahead if you reach out early! Please note that I'm not accepting any overnight or sitting requests at this time — just walks and drop-ins.

When I'm in your home, I treat it — and your pet — like my own. That means leaving things exactly as I found them, respecting your space, and making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable the whole time I'm there. You shouldn't have to worry about anything while I'm on the job. I also take weather seriously when it comes to walks. If it's over 85°F or below 32°F, I won't take your dog out for a full walk — not because I'm cutting corners, but because it's genuinely not safe for them. Instead, I'll take them out for a shorter trip to handle their business and get a little fresh air, then spend the remaining time as a drop-in — giving them attention, playtime, and company indoors. Your pet's safety always comes first, and I'd rather make that call than push through conditions that could put them at risk. One more thing worth mentioning — if your dog has a history of pulling on the leash, I won't walk them along main roads. It's just not a risk I'm willing to take for either of us. I'd much rather stick to quieter streets and sidewalks where I can keep them safe and in control. If this applies to your dog, just give me a heads up ahead of time so I can plan the route accordingly!
Informations que JJ G. aimerait connaître au sujet de votre animal domestique
Before any service begins, I strongly encourage a meet and greet so I can get to know your pet, learn their personality, and make sure we're a good fit. It also gives your pet a chance to get comfortable with me ahead of time, which makes every visit go much smoother — but it's not required. What I do need to know upfront is any reactivity, aggression, or behavioral tendencies that may come up while your pet is in my care. This isn't about judging your pet — plenty of animals I work with have quirks and that's completely okay. I just need to be prepared so I can handle things safely and appropriately. Please be honest, because what I see during a meet and greet may be very different from what comes out on a walk or when you're not around. If a pet displays behaviors during a service that were not disclosed ahead of time, I reserve the right to end the service immediately. In that situation, no refund will be issued. This policy exists to protect me, your pet, and anyone else we may encounter — and I'd much rather have an honest conversation upfront than be caught off guard in the middle of a walk.

Every visit starts the same way — with your pet, not a checklist. For walks, I take my cues from your dog. Some want to move, some want to sniff every single blade of grass, and I'm good with either. I keep a close eye on how they're doing throughout and always make sure they're hydrated and settled before I leave. Drop-ins are a chance for your pet to have some real company while you're away. I'll handle feeding, water, and any other needs, but beyond the basics I just hang out with them — playing, giving attention, or sitting with the ones who just want someone nearby. Either way, you'll get an update from me before I head out.

Pets Are Always Family Here
Expérience en matière de services dédiés aux animaux de compagnie
Animals have been my whole world since I was a kid. I started helping care for pets at 13, and by 16 I had already turned that love into real professional experience. Now at 26, I've spent the majority of my life working with animals in some capacity — and I still look forward to every single visit. I've had cats my entire life, have 13+ years of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, and have spent close to a decade caring for small animals too — guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, you name it. Big dogs, little dogs, shy cats, skittish hamsters — I've worked with all kinds of personalities and I genuinely enjoy the ones that take a little extra patience. I know how much your pet means to you, because mine mean everything to me. Every animal I care for gets treated like my own — whether that means sticking to their routine, giving them extra cuddles, or just sitting quietly with them until they warm up to me. I take this seriously, and I think that comes through pretty quickly once you meet me.

JJ took amazing care of our 3 cats and boa while we were away for the holidays. They were attentive and kept me updated on everything! I definitely felt at ease knowing our pets were in good hands. Highly recommend!

Thank you Jj so much for taking such good care of Smokey!!!

JJ has become our regular pet sitter and we are so grateful! JJ is fast to respond, reliable, and communicative.

She’s the best.
