Availability
I work from home most weekdays. I’m around for regular supervision and flexible potty breaks based on your dog’s needs. During the day (9–5), I can provide potty breaks in the morning and at lunch, along with 2–3 walks of up to 30 minutes each depending on your dog’s routine and energy level. I live with no kids or other pets, which creates a calm, quiet environment with minimal distraction, great for dogs who prefer a peaceful space or need time to settle in. After 5 p.m. and on weekends, I have even more time to dedicate to your pup for longer walks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

Safety, trust & environment
I live alone in a cozy, pet-friendly condo in a safe neighborhood in North York core with lots of families and young professionals around. My unit is on a high floor and sits behind the main street, so it stays quiet with minimal street noise, perfect for pets who like a calm space. I don’t have tall or high-heel furniture, so it’s safe for curious pets who like to jump or explore. My lifestyle is simple and peaceful - I cook lightly, have few electronic devices, and there are no children or other pets, so visiting pets get my full attention. Whether I’m caring for animals in my home or at a client’s, I keep their routine consistent and make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for.

Information Jingyi J. would like to know about your pet
Before any stay, I like to learn as much as possible about your dog so I can make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Important things to know ahead of time include their feeding routine, any food allergies or sensitivities (although I only feed food provided by the owner), and whether they sleep alone, in a crate, or prefer sleeping near people. I’d also like to know their walking habits, energy level, leash manners, and any triggers or fears during walks (such as bikes, loud noises, strangers, or other dogs). It’s also very helpful to know if they have any resource guarding behaviors, tend to chew on household items, or experience separation anxiety when left alone. Please also let me know how they get along with other dogs, whether they can be left home briefly if I need to step out for groceries, and how you’d like me to handle those situations. If your dog takes any medication or has any medical needs, I’m happy to follow instructions carefully. The more I know in advance, the better I can provide a smooth, stress-free, and personalized experience for your little one.
A typical day
I always start by checking with the owner about their dog’s usual routine, habits, and preferences so I can keep things as consistent and comfortable as possible. I’ll carefully follow their schedule for walks, feeding, potty breaks, naps, and any special instructions. Depending on each dog’s personality and energy level, fun activities can include walks, playtime with toys and balls, fetch, cuddle time, and lots of attention. For more relaxed dogs, I’m also happy to just keep them company and give them a calm, cozy environment. My goal is to treat every dog as my own and make sure every dog feels happy, safe, and at home while they’re with me.

Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong dog lover with 6+ years of hands-on experience raising my own Shiba Inu from a mischievous puppy into a well-behaved, happy adult. I gave her my whole heart and attended multiple pet training courses with her. After a heartbreaking breakup, she’s no longer with me, and I miss her every single day. But I realized I still have so much love and care to give, and I’d love to share it with your dogs as if they were my own😊. Since joining Rover, and through helping friends care for their dogs, I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes, especially small to medium breeds, from tiny Maltese to senior bulldog. I’m patient with dogs who are new to boarding or feeling nervous, and I’m great at helping them adjust comfortably to a new environment. I also seem to have a natural connection with dogs haha and they usually warm up to me very quickly and love to stay close by🥰I’m attentive, always follow each owner’s instructions carefully, and make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for with plenty of playtime, attention, and affection.
Reviews

Aiko had a relaxing time at Jingyi’s. I would definitely recommend for pet sitting. Thank you so much!!

Jingyi did an amazing job with our dog Tetsu. She followed the instructions to perfection and even grommed our dog.

Jingyi provides great communication and updates. Benji loved staying with her

This was our first time boarding Remy with Jingyi. From the very beginning, she followed our (very detailed!) list of instructions to the letter. Every feeding guideline and routine preference was respected exactly as requested, which gave us so much peace of mind. Jingyi's communication was outstanding — we received regular updates, thoughtful messages, and photos that clearly showed how our pup was doing. Most importantly, she was incredible with our anxious rescue dog. Settling into a new environment can be stressful for him, but she was patient, calm, and intuitive. It was clear she took the time to build trust and help him feel safe and comfortable. We’re so grateful for the care, attention, and compassion Jingyi showed. Highly, highly recommend!
