My husband and I rescued our Shiba Mix dog back in 2013. We put him in a fun unofficial agility league for 6 years and trained him to have an extensive repertoire of tricks, including performing handstands. Over the span of 13 years I have dog sit numerous dogs for family and friends, as well as fostered a couple of young dogs, including a puppy.

Schedule
I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to work from home (my husband also works from home), so I am home most of the time with the kids and our senior dog, occasionally doggy sitting for our friends. This schedule also allows me to occasionally foster a dog from the local pet shelter.

I have a fenced in backyard and a 12 year old Shiba Mix who is friendly around our toddlers and other dogs. My kids are gentle and respectful around other dogs and won't play with them unless the dog wants to. I can crate your dog if need be.
Pets
A typical day
I usually take the dogs I watch on walks around the neighborhood in the early morning and/or in the evening. There will be sporadic play (tug of war, fetch, etc) throughout the day, with lots of cuddling and petting in between. I live by 2 local coffee shops within walking distance, so there will be the occasional coffee run with the doggos.

- Let me know your dogs personality! Would love to accommodate their needs - if they need more play time, medication, etc. I have extensive knowledge on dog commands and tricks, as our own dog did an unofficial dog agility course for 6 years. Also prefer dogs who don't mind other dogs and small children, as we have our own resident dog and 3 small toddlers running around.
