Never met an animal I didn’t like!
I have been a life long dog owner and having grown up frequenting farms of family and friends, I have always loved taking care of animals. I am experienced and knowledgeable about pet care and my quiet, patient demeanor helps put even the most anxious pets at ease. I know every pet owner does things their own way and knows their pet best so I’m always careful to pay attention to the routines and strategies that work best for each animal. In recent years I volunteered at a local cat shelter to stay connected to animals. There I fell in love with ended up adopting Fawn, the beautiful calico cat in my profile picture. And not the one with glasses and a beard. That’s me.

Jake is a responsible, trustworthy, accountable and kind person. There are few people I would fully trust with my animals and Jake is undoubtably one of those people. Not only can Jake connect with all animals but he can also handle any obstacle or challenge he may come upon. I would highly recommend Jake as a sitter/walker for your fur baby!

Schedule
I’m a farm worker who is trying to make ends meet during the off season. This makes my schedule very flexible and open during the winter months in particular.

I am comfortable and confident around all types of temperaments. I will listen to your instructions and take the steps to make your pet comfortable with me and with me being in their space. I use positive behavior reinforcement to help teach and maintain good behavior.

A typical day
I am high energy myself and love to run and play with animals. I also like to look for fun, easy, and creative ways to enrich play and feeding times with some mental stimulation such as puzzle feeders and training challenges for active and motivated dogs.
