A typical day
Every cat is different, so I always adjust my visits to their personality. For shy cats, I’m patient and use a calm approach (and sometimes treats) to help them feel comfortable coming out. During each visit, I handle feeding (kibble, wet food, or automatic feeders), refresh water and clean fountains if needed, and clean all types of litter boxes—always disposing of waste outside to keep the home fresh. And of course, my favorite part: spending quality time with your cat—playing, giving treats, or simply relaxing and cuddling so they feel loved while you’re away.

Jimmy was great with our cat during our short weekend trip. He was very attentive, made sure he ate well, gave him his favorite Churu treats, and took the time to play and spend some quality time with him. This was my first time using the Rover app on such short notice. And sometimes apps like these can be hit or miss, but Jimmy helped and provided amazing services! He kept me up to date, took pictures, and went above and beyond. Definitely will continue to use him going forward. Great introduction to the app as well!
We had such a wonderful experience with Jimmy! He took amazing care of our cat and truly went above and beyond throughout the entire stay. Every day, he sent incredibly detailed updates with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that he genuinely cared about our cat and paid close attention to every little detail. He also did an incredible job grooming our cat—his fur looked so soft, clean, and well brushed when we came home! Most importantly, our cat absolutely loved him, which says everything.
