Jimmy Cat Daddy is built on a true love for animals, with a special focus on cats. As a proud cat dad myself, I understand how unique and special each cat’s personality can be. After two years on Rover, I’ve truly enjoyed helping fellow cat parents care for their babies while they’re away. My goal is to make every visit calm, attentive, and full of the same love and patience I give my own cats.

Jimmy was awesome - he sent great updates, was very prepared, thoughtful, and communicative and I felt very lucky to have him watch our pups while we were away!!

This is the third time I’ve booked Jimmy and he is so great and makes me feel so at ease traveling and leaving my cats alone. Truly someone you can trust both in your home and with your animals!
Always does a great job with the babies! Plus this time he had to give one of them a pill and was super willing to do it with no issues! Felt so bad cuz it was last minute that I went to the vet and learned my cat needed a pill for a couple weeks and I know how hard giving cats medicine is! Highly recommend :)
As a cat owner, you want someone around who genuinely loves cats, and Jimmy does! Not only does he give them treats, play with them, cuddle with my needy cats, he also leaves my place super tidy for my return which is a huge plus. Will definitely be rebooking!

Schedule
My schedule is flexible, though I do appreciate advance notice when possible. If I’m ever unavailable, I work closely with a small circle of trusted and reliable cat sitters in the area. I love recommending them to my clients—they’re part of what I like to call the Cat Daddy & Fam, the “aunts and uncles” who help make sure your cat is always in great hands.

When I care for your pets, I treat your home with the same respect as if it were my own. I’m always mindful, non-judgmental, and make sure to leave your home the same—or even better—than how you left it. Your pet’s comfort and your peace of mind are always my priority.

A typical day
Every cat is different, so I always adjust my visits to their personality. For shy cats, I’m patient and use a calm approach (and sometimes treats) to help them feel comfortable coming out. During each visit, I handle feeding (kibble, wet food, or automatic feeders), refresh water and clean fountains if needed, and clean all types of litter boxes—always disposing of waste outside to keep the home fresh. And of course, my favorite part: spending quality time with your cat—playing, giving treats, or simply relaxing and cuddling so they feel loved while you’re away.
