Making Tails Wag, Your Pet's New Best Friend
During my time as a pet sitter, one of my most memorable experiences was with Pepper, a lively Lab. His owner was an elderly woman who needed help managing his high energy and lack of training. I quickly integrated leash training and positive reinforcement into our daily walks to stop his pulling. To address his jumping and nipping, I used redirection and behavioral modification techniques, teaching him appropriate ways to greet people. I also worked on basic obedience commands like "sit" and "stay." The owner was amazed at his progress. By the end of my time with pepper, he was walking calmly on his leash and responding to commands. This experience demonstrated my ability to not only provide pet care but also to use my training skills to improve a pet's life and give their owner peace of mind
