Hi, my name is Jill and I’m an experienced animal care provider with a strong background in veterinary assistance. I previously worked at a clinic specialising in exotic and companion animals, where I cared for everything from birds and reptiles to cats and dogs 🦔 🐍🐠🐢🐇🐈🦜🐩 In addition to my professional experience, I’ve also spent many years personally raising a variety of pets — including hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, hedgehogs, turtles, tortoises, and parrots — which has given me hands-on insight into their daily needs and personalities. Through all of this, I’ve developed a deep understanding of feline behavior, health needs, and how to make even the shyest cats feel safe and relaxed 😸 When I’m not caring for animals, I’m often drawing them! 🎨 As a pet portrait artist and tattooist, I love capturing the unique expressions and souls of the animals I meet. This artistic side helps me stay very patient and attentive to every small detail of your pet’s well-being 💕 I’m calm, attentive, and truly passionate about animals, I treat every pet as if they were my own 🥰

With years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals – from domestic pets to exotic species – and a background working as a veterinary assistant, I offer professional and compassionate in-home pet care that goes beyond the basics. I provide services in the comfort of your pet’s own environment, where they feel most at ease. My care includes feeding, providing fresh water, administering oral medications, dog walking, cleaning litter trays, and giving pets the time, affection and attention they deserve. I’m also trained and experienced in administering subcutaneous fluids, especially for senior cats or pets with chronic conditions, handling the process gently and confidently. Thanks to my veterinary experience, I’m comfortable caring for animals with special medical needs, behavioural sensitivities, or those who require more specialised attention. Mouse was so well looked after. I haven’t left her with anyone outside of the family before, as she is still a pup, so I was a little anxious… I had no reason to be. Mouse had a great day, with lots of walking and attention from Jill. I cannot thank Jill enough. Plenty pictures and updates throughout the day, and a very sleepy pup to come home to. Jillson went above and beyond to make sure Percy was happy and well cared for. He clearly felt very comfortable with her and we received great updates throughout her stay. Jillson followed all our requests and schedule and took great care of our home too. I hope we get a chance to book Jillson again.
Jillson was fantastic watching Josie! She sent loads of updates and took incredible care of not only Josie but the flat as well while we were away. Jillson was all about to personal touches and I would definitely recommend!
Jillson met us beforehand to get to know Dougal; she stayed with him overnight and followed all instructions carefully, kept the house tidy, and was responsive with quick updates and replies!
Jill did a wonderful job looking after my dog and the flat over a long weekend. He is senior who needs daily medication and he can be nervous around strangers. She immediately calmed him down reassured me with regular update, plus the flat was in perfect condition when I returned. I 100% recommend her and will go out of my way to book her again.
Jill did an amazing job looking after my boy Simba while I was away on holiday. She followed all the instructions I gave her perfectly and I came home to a very happy cat. Would highly recommend!

I have a flexible schedule, available on weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to take on short-term or regular pet sitting requests. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter, I’d be happy to help care for your pet as if they were my own! 😘

- Before caring for any pet, I believe it’s essential to understand their unique needs, habits, and routines. Every animal is different, so having the right information in advance helps me provide the best possible care and ensure their comfort and safety. 💖 Here are a few things I like to know beforehand: • Medical conditions: Any ongoing health issues, allergies, medications, or treatments (e.g. subcutaneous fluids). 💊 • Feeding schedule and diet: What they eat, how much, and when. 🍽️ • Behaviour and temperament: Are they shy, reactive, friendly, anxious around strangers or other animals? 🐿️ • Daily routines: Usual walk times, playtime preferences, sleeping habits. 🐾 • Training and commands: Any specific words or cues they understand (e.g. “sit”, “stay”, “no”). 🐕 • Likes and dislikes: Favourite toys or activities, things that might frighten or upset them (e.g. loud noises, vacuum cleaners). 🎾 • Emergency contacts: Vet information and what to do if something unexpected happens. 🏥 The more I know about your pet beforehand, the better I can care for them in a way that feels familiar, safe, and loving — just like you would. 🥰
