Your Pup’s BFF — Trainer Jillian
Hi I'm Your Pup's BFF - Trainer Jillian I’ve cared for dogs for over 12 years, starting with dog walking and pet sitting before becoming a professional dog trainer. Over the years, I’ve taught hundreds of dogs and their parents in group classes and private settings, from puppy basics and obedience to enrichment, confidence building, fitness, and more. Being a trainer has made me a better BFF and caregiver because I’ve learned how to read each pup’s body language, comfort level, personality, and little behavior cues. This helps me adjust their care in the moment, whether they need structure, enrichment, reassurance, rest, or a little extra patience. I have experience with puppies, adults, seniors, and pups who need extra support or special-needs care. Your pup will be treated like family — with love, comfort, structure, and plenty of tail wags.

Ratings and reviews
Jillian was absolutely amazing, I received daily updates and photos of my baby dog. Prior to his boarding, Jillian provided us a tour of his suite and the layout. We also did a a consultation to make sure Maximus would feel comfortable. Everything went smoothly and Maximus absolutely adored Jillian. She took him out on outings and was always on alert taking care of him. They even had special play dates. She cooked special meals for him and made sure he felt safe at all times. I would 1000% hired Jillian to take of my baby dog.

Jillian has been my dog trainer, and she is absolutely exceptional. She doesn't just work with the dogs - she teaches owners how to understand and train their pets, and she does it with so much patience, clarity, and fun. My dog is a very opinionated little terrier, and the progress she has made in such a short time is due in large part to Jillian's guidance and support. Jillian has a wonderful way of helping both the dog and the owner feel confident and capable. I fully plan on using her through Rover because I trust her completely, and I know my dog will be in the best hands. Anyone who books her will be lucky to have her caring for and working with their pet/s. Sincerely, Amy Becker

Schedule
Your pup's care is built into my daily routine, and I keep my bookings intentionally low-volume so every stay is personal, calm, loving, and thoughtfully planned. I'm home with the pups most of the day, and any time away is planned around their care. I do my best to follow your pup's normal routine for meals, potty breaks, walks, rest, and bedtime so their stay feels familiar and comfortable. Please let me know before booking if your pup cannot comfortably be left alone for more than 4 hours, needs overnight reassurance, is under 8 months old, is a senior, or has special needs. Dogs requiring this higher level of care generally need at least 2 weeks' notice so I can adjust my work schedule and prepare the right care plan. Last-minute bookings are typically best suited for independent dogs who are comfortable with my standard routine or for returning guests whose care needs I already know well. Some stays may require my puppy care rate if your pup needs extra time, supervision, or hands-on support.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
With a trainer’s eye and a high standard of safety, I keep each stay structured, cozy, and thoughtfully supervised. Guest pups have safe rest areas with crates, pens, and/or gates for decompression and separation when needed. For their safety and your peace of mind, guest pups are kept separate from other dogs on the property unless calm, supervised hangouts have been thoughtfully approved for returning BFFs. Outdoor time includes leashed walks, sniffy outings, park time, and/or long-line enrichment when appropriate. If your pup has a familiar dog friend they love, let me know and we can talk through whether a pre-approved visit feels safe, comfortable, and doable with the schedule.

A typical day
A typical day is built around your pup’s routine, energy level, and comfort. I pay close attention to their body language and behavior cues so I can adjust the day and help them have the safest, happiest stay possible. Mornings usually start with individual potty walks, followed by breakfast as an enrichment activity like a puzzle, slow feeder, or sniffy game. Meal times are always separate and supervised. Throughout the day, pups may enjoy supervised free-roam time, potty or sniff walks, living room playtime, cuddle breaks, cozy rest time, and even movie time when we can. Quiet rest and nap times are also built in so every BFF gets a healthy balance of activity and downtime. Dinner is another chance for enrichment, such as a snuffle activity, frozen pupsicle, pup cup, or treat toy. After that, we settle into a cozy cool-down and everyone gets tucked into bed.
