Your pup’s care is built into my daily routine, and I keep my bookings intentionally low-volume so every stay is personal, calm, loving, and thoughtfully planned. I’m home with the pups most of the day, and any time away is planned around their care. I do my best to follow your pup’s normal routine for meals, potty breaks, walks, rest, and bedtime so their stay feels familiar and comfortable. Please let me know before booking if your pup cannot comfortably be left alone for more than 4 hours, needs overnight reassurance, is under 8 months old, a senior, or has special needs. This helps me plan the right care setup ahead of time. Some stays may require my puppy care rate if your pup needs extra time, supervision, or hands-on support.

Safety, trust & environment
With a trainer’s eye and a high standard of safety, I keep each stay structured, cozy, and thoughtfully supervised. Guest pups have safe rest areas with crates, pens, and/or gates for decompression and separation when needed. For their safety and your peace of mind, guest pups are kept separate from other dogs on the property unless calm, supervised hangouts have been thoughtfully approved for returning BFFs. Outdoor time includes leashed walks, sniffy outings, park time, and/or long-line enrichment when appropriate. If your pup has a familiar dog friend they love, let me know and we can talk through whether a pre-approved visit feels safe, comfortable, and doable with the schedule.

Information Jillian Y. would like to know about your pet
Before booking, I love learning about your pup’s routine, meals, potty needs, crate or pen comfort, medical needs, allergies, and behavior history. This includes anything that may help me care for them safely and comfortably, such as fears, triggers, reactivity, resource guarding, escape attempts, past injuries, any past altercations with people or dogs, or sensitivities around food, toys, leashes, grooming, or handling. Private stays, where your pup is the only BFF booked, may be available upon request.
A typical day
A typical day is built around your pup’s routine, energy level, and comfort. I pay close attention to their body language and behavior cues so I can adjust the day and help them have the safest, happiest stay possible. Mornings usually start with individual potty walks, followed by breakfast as an enrichment activity like a puzzle, slow feeder, or sniffy game. Meal times are always separate and supervised. Throughout the day, pups may enjoy supervised free-roam time, potty or sniff walks, living room playtime, cuddle breaks, cozy rest time, and even movie time when we can. Quiet rest and nap times are also built in so every BFF gets a healthy balance of activity and downtime. Dinner is another chance for enrichment, such as a snuffle activity, frozen pupsicle, pup cup, or treat toy. After that, we settle into a cozy cool-down and everyone gets tucked into bed.

Your Pup’s BFF — Trainer Jillian
Pet care experience
Hi I'm Your Pup's BFF - Trainer Jillian I’ve cared for dogs for over 12 years, starting with dog walking and pet sitting before becoming a professional dog trainer. Over the years, I’ve taught hundreds of dogs and their parents in group classes and private settings, from puppy basics and obedience to enrichment, confidence building, fitness, and more. Being a trainer has made me a better BFF and caregiver because I’ve learned how to read each pup’s body language, comfort level, personality, and little behavior cues. This helps me adjust their care in the moment, whether they need structure, enrichment, reassurance, rest, or a little extra patience. I have experience with puppies, adults, seniors, and pups who need extra support or special-needs care. Your pup will be treated like family — with love, comfort, structure, and plenty of tail wags.
Reviews
Jillian has been my dog trainer, and she is absolutely exceptional. She doesn't just work with the dogs - she teaches owners how to understand and train their pets, and she does it with so much patience, clarity, and fun. My dog is a very opinionated little terrier, and the progress she has made in such a short time is due in large part to Jillian's guidance and support. Jillian has a wonderful way of helping both the dog and the owner feel confident and capable. I fully plan on using her through Rover because I trust her completely, and I know my dog will be in the best hands. Anyone who books her will be lucky to have her caring for and working with their pet/s. Sincerely, Amy Becker
