I am a huge animal lover! I grew up with cats, dogs and other small animals such as guinea pigs and fish in my home. Many neighbors and family friends have relied on me to watch their pets while they were away from home over the years, which has given me lots of experience with taking care of animals that aren’t my own. I also have experience fostering cats through my local animal shelter. I currently care for my own 29 gallon freshwater community aquarium as well! If you need someone to drop by to care for your fish, I’d be glad to help.

Your pet’s comfort is my number one priority! I understand that each pet’s lifestyle is different, so I am more than willing to maintain their normal routine while caring for them. I always make sure to allow frequent bathroom breaks, as well as lots of playtime and affection! As someone who up until recent years had a senior dog, I know that older pets tend to require more attention than usual. I can assure you that your senior dog/cat will receive all of the attention and love they need while in my care.

Jillian was wonderful with our 5 kitties! She took the time to earn their trust, especially the shy ones. There were several occasions where she stayed longer to brush, pet, and play with them since we were gone for over a week. Our cats seemed happy and healthy when we returned. We'd definitely have her watch our kitties again and highly recommend her for anyone with multiple cats!

Schedule
I am currently in college and I work part-time on weekdays, but someone is always home during the short periods I am not. Generally, my schedule is pretty flexible!

- I would like to know about your pet’s temperament as well as any “off limits” areas (ex: no touching their belly, ears, etc.) prior to visits. It’s good to know these things to avoid any mishaps and to make sure they feel comfortable with me. Also, please be honest regarding your pet’s behavior. I understand each animal is unique and doesn’t act the same, but I would like to know how they do with listening/commands/play behaviors before sitting them for the safety of your pets, my pets, and myself. I would also like to know if your dog has issues with accidents in the house. I understand that accidents happen with every pet from time to time, however I am currently unable to care for dogs with a history of accidents due to my schedule and not being home at all times.
