I have a warm heart for cold noses.
Since 2023, my paid experience has included overnight and daytime home stays, for up to 24 hours at a time or weekly. Imagine a Mary Poppins for your beloved pets who provides the social and emotional support to buffer you during long getaways. Two walks daily, if needed, by forest or urban trail. I am here to ensure the proper amount of exercise. I am here to guide the fun, support the snuggles, and provide proper nutrition. Multiple types of animals welcome.

Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

Jillian is incredible. She watched our two pups at our home for several days and when we returned, our fur babies were happy, tired, and obviously loved being with her. Jillian asked insightful questions prior to the stay and sent an abundance of cute videos and texts during our trip that gave us confidence that the pups were being well cared for. We will definitely want to use Jillian for dog sitting again!
Jillian is so thoughtful and kind! I knew my little catdude was well taken care of and comfortable. She sent lots of vids and updates throughout and made sure he was well fed and had lots of treats. 10/10 experience!
Jillian is fantastic! Jillian is reasonable with pricing and works with your schedule. Jillian ensures clear communication before, during, and after each visit. She has stayed with our dog a few time and each time she has gone above and beyond in offering our dog daily activities. She sends photos and videos of the daily adventures they take together. I feel at ease knowing our dog is happy and in great hands with Jillian. Additionally she leave our home clean and sometime better than we left it. I couldn’t ask for a better caretaker for our dog and our home!
Jillian is super friendly and genuinely wants to do a great job! She’s very detail oriented, which I appreciate. She took great care of our dogs, and I would absolutely use her again!
Jillian was a fabulous caregiver for our two Cavalirr King Charles puppies. Wonderful communicator, caring, and attentive with the dogs, prompt, and in touch with us at all times. Would definitely book her again if we return to the Nevada City area.
Jillian stayed at our house with our two dogs and two cats. She was really great in communicating with us and gave us updates about our pets. She gave the dogs really great exercise and even bathed and brushed them. Also, the house was super clean when we got home. She really went above and beyond. We will be using her again in the near future!

Programa
I have passed numerous background checks as an elementary school substitute teacher. So I have full availability overnight, on weekends, and for extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. References on request. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7 am.
