A simple Love and Passion for pups!
Hello! I’ve always had a love for animals. When I was in 3rd grade, I was asked “what do you want to do when you grow up?” When most little girls would say be a doctor, actress, lawyer, etc, my response was “to be a farmer so I can work with all the animals!” Although my professional career took me down the physical therapy route, I’ve never lost my love for animals. In 2009 I rescued my border collie mix as a pup but have recently lost her at age 15. She was my life and passion. My love for animals and dogs in particular will always be first and foremost in my life. My dog Wrigley will forever hold a special place in my heart but it is time to look forward and work with treasured pets of those that need assistance with daily doggie chores and activities. It’s a WIN WIN situation for me to share my love for dogs with your fur babies!

Jillian has always been an animal lover, both domestic and farm animals, but with her own rescue dog that she had for almost 15 years, she truly grew into a dog lover. When she first saw her "Wrigley" (a beautiful border collie mix) I was surprised that she wanted a larger dog (of about 50 lbs.) than a smaller dog (of about 26 lbs.) when she was growing up. But she wanted to be able to run, hike and walk with her dog. Her Wrigley brought her so much joy, comfort and protection beyond measure. And she in turn, provided a safe and secure home for her filled with unconditional love. Now she is ready to branch out and be available to help others and their fur babies to feel safe, secure and in good hands when entrusted with them. She's one of the best!
Any dog who is lucky enough to have Jillian as a dog mom will honestly hit the doggie lotto! Her compassion for and love of doggies is evidenced in how she cares for them with genuine love, tenderness and empathy yet firmness as a worthy pack leader. I believe Jillian will soar to your “best volunteer ever” list as she hits the ground running in caring for any doggie you place in her care!

Schedule
I currently work in a skilled nursing facility in the physical therapy department on an as needed basis, therefore, allowing me ample time to spend with your fur babies.

- I’m open to all breeds, shapes and sizes. If their is anything of specifics about the specials needs of the pup or temperament, I’ll accommodate appropriately.
