A typical day
First visits can be the hardest—especially for shy or anxious pets. That’s why I always start by building trust and comfort. Whether I’m stopping in for a visit or watching them over the course of the week, I’ll take things at your pet’s pace to create a calm, positive experience starting from the very first visit. I come prepared with treats, toys, and patience! I also love bringing along interactive toys for mental stimulation and enrichment. Once we’ve built a bond, your pup can look forward to tail-wagging adventures, playful engagement, and plenty of snuggles (if they’re into that!). Every visit is about more than just care, it’s about connection. 🐾💛

With over 10 years of hands-on veterinary experience—ranging from kennel assistant to veterinary assistant—I bring a unique level of expertise and confidence to pet care. I’m trained in administering oral medications, injections, and subcutaneous fluids, and I’m especially comfortable with senior pets, those with special medical needs, and high-energy dogs. I’m also a lifelong pet owner and former employee with Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, so I know how to handle everything from shy rescues to rowdy puppies with patience and love. Whether your pet needs playtime, medication, a slow walk, or just someone who understands their quirks—I’m here to provide compassionate, reliable care like they’re my own.

Jillian is amazing! She watched five of our fur-kids, three dogs and two cats, for the week. She sent lots of photos and comments each day. The chiwinnie has a lot of the dachshund attitude and our male cavalier is extremely vocal. Those two are not easy and she handled them beautifully. She is trustworthy, caring and professional. She made going on vacation easy. Thanks Jillian 😊.
