A typical day
First visits can be the hardest—especially for shy or anxious pets. That’s why I always start by building trust and comfort. Whether I’m stopping in for a visit or watching them over the course of the week, I’ll take things at your pet’s pace to create a calm, positive experience starting from the very first visit. I come prepared with treats, toys, and patience! I also love bringing along interactive toys for mental stimulation and enrichment. Once we’ve built a bond, your pup can look forward to tail-wagging adventures, playful engagement, and plenty of snuggles (if they’re into that!). Every visit is about more than just care, it’s about connection. 🐾💛

With over 10 years of hands-on veterinary experience—ranging from kennel assistant to veterinary assistant—I bring a unique level of expertise and confidence to pet care. I’m trained in administering oral medications, injections, and subcutaneous fluids, and I’m especially comfortable with senior pets, those with special medical needs, and high-energy dogs. I’m also a lifelong pet owner and former employee with Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, so I know how to handle everything from shy rescues to rowdy puppies with patience and love. Whether your pet needs playtime, medication, a slow walk, or just someone who understands their quirks—I’m here to provide compassionate, reliable care like they’re my own.

Jillian was absolutely amazing with our fur baby Sammy. This was our first time having someone stay with Sam in our home while we were away. We could not have asked for a better experience. Jillian is an excellent communicator, shared multiple pictures of our boy throughout the day, and we knew from the moment we left that he was in great hands. Jillian was very neat and respectful of our home and was a great guest leaving everything better than we left it for her! I’m hesitant to leave such a fantastic review of Jillian because we want to keep her to ourselves!!! We will definitely be asking her to stay with Sammy again very soon. We had complete peace of mind and were able to enjoy our time away. Thank you so much, Jillian.
