Hi, I’m Jillian — your friendly neighborhood dog walker. I share my life with a 63-lb super mutt who has a big heart, a loud voice, and even bigger feelings. He’s smart, sensitive, and not always great at making calm choices on leash. Because of him, I’ve spent plenty of time being that cheerful person smiling and waving from across the street. Loving my dog meant learning how to truly support him. I worked with trainers, read everything I could, and figured out what helps dogs feel safe, seen, and understood. Along the way, I realized my background working with kids on the autism spectrum using Applied Behavior Analysis — paired with my love of purposeful, playful learning — fit naturally into caring for dogs, especially those who need a little extra patience. These days, I bring that same calm, thoughtful approach to walking and caring for neighborhood pups. I love getting to know each dog as an individual, continuing to learn, and being part of a community that truly cares about their dogs’ well-being. I’d love to meet you and your pup. — Jillian 🐾

I am not able to do dog care in my own home, my dog needs a long time to get to know other dogs. I do offer drop in visits and walks.

It was so great to meet Jillian. Mellow can sometimes be slow to warm up to people but Jillian was very thoughtful and calm with her approach and moved at a pace that suited us, Mellow was sitting for treats and coming in close for cuddles in no time! We are looking forward to booking future visits and walks. Thanks for having compassion and an understanding of our dog reactive dog and being a part of his journey!
Jillian did a fantastic job of taking care of our precious Gemma cat. My cat usually doesn't like other people but she warmed right up to Jillian and became friends instantly. Gemma was well loved and taken care of and I will be using Jillian's services again next time we leave town. Thanks again Jill! ❤️😽
I've known Jillian for over a year now, she is my upstairs neighhbor. Her and her dog Jax have helped create a loving and safe environment in our area. Jillian has an innate sense for understanding animals and their needs, and I have never witnessed her be any way other than gentle, loving and understanding. In the year that I've known Jillian and her dog Jax, the dedication and patience she has shown Jax has enabled him to live a much fuller, freer and happier life. Jillian would be a great asset to any pet owner.
Jill goes above and beyond to meet pets where they are. She was instrumental to helping my fearful rescue dog come out of his shell during his first few weeks with me. She took the time to go at his pace and gain his trust. Now she's his best friend and I'm only a little jealous lol. She clearly loves animals and has a wealth of knowledge to help achieve your training goals.
Jillian is my dog walker. She is completely reliable, there on time, loving with my dog, sends wonderful photos, observes him well and reports details beyond success with urination and bowel movements, which is also great news. If your pup likes a fast pace she’ll run a little with them too. I feel completely safe and confident with her in my household and caring for my dog. If you’re comfortable with this, she’ll even sit with them in your home after giving a good belly scratch and pup massage.
Edit: I meant to say in my review that Jillian 'isn't ONLY good with animals', not that she 'isn't good with animals'. What an embarrassing mistake! She most certainly is good with animals.
