Jill has been walking our dogs consistently since May 2026 and was a reliable person for that service. It made us feel comfortable leaving them in her care for 3 days when we went to a family wedding. Unfortunately, we did not experience what other reviewers did and the only difference I can tell is that those dogs were boarded at her residence, whereas we hired her to house sit. Of the total time we had booked her for, our dogs were left alone for the vast majority of the time. She took them for a walk each day and fed them, but in 3 days they were let out to the backyard 5 times. We have a ring doorbell camera and a backyard camera, so this we determined later. The first day, she was not very communicative and we had to reach out to ask when she would come check on the dogs. We had booked her starting at 12pm and she did not arrive until around 4pm. That's fine, it was within the window of the 4-8 hours our dogs can handle being alone. She then left at 5pm and did not return until around 1 am. We inquired and she told us she was out with friends. We chalked this up to it being a Friday and and she assured us that she would take good care of our dogs. Unfortunately, Saturday was worse and she left our dogs from 10am to 8pm, took them for a 30 min walk, and then immediately left. We missed this notification as it was so close to her coming back from the walk. We incorrectly assumed that because they had already been left for 10 hours, that she was back for the night. She did not return until 4:15am in the morning on Sunday, so they were left completely alone save 30 min on Saturday. We were at a wedding and did not realize she didn't stay with them until early Sunday morning and became extremely worried. We cut our time with family short to try and return as quickly as possible. On Sunday, she left them at 10am and did not return until 7pm. Again, took them for a walk and then left at 7:45pm when we had scheduled her until 9pm. All told, she left them alone for almost 13 hours Friday, almost 17 hours Saturday, and 10 hours Sunday. That equates to leaving them alone for approximately 70% of the time they were in her care. Through some very minimal communication, she told us she was moving this weekend. This was told to us after the dogs were in her care and not before. We also did not receive any pictures or updates on how they were doing. We had booked this a month previous and would have appreciated transparency around her time commitments. Throughout this, she didn't seem to be concerned about how much our dogs were left alone, despite us expressing anxiety about this on Friday. It sounds like boarding is the main service she should offer, and that house sitting is not in her capabilities due to balancing her schedule. Anything could have happened in the time she left our dogs by themselves, nevermind holding their bladders for longer than they ever have in their lives for multiple days. Due to this, we cannot recommend her for house sitting and no longer feel comfortable leaving our dogs in her care.

Jill looked after our two Frenchies while we were away for a long weekend. Fantastic communication and updates — we were very comfortable knowing our girls and home were being so well looked after. Highly recommend Jill and her services and will definitely book with her again! 😊
