Hi! I’m Jillian, a dependable and attentive dog & cat lover (& any other 4 legged creature - shout out to gerbils) offering walks, drop-ins, and extended care. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away, and I treat every dog and cat as if they were my own. I’m active and love long walks, playtime, and making sure dogs get the exercise and attention they need. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes and always follow each pet’s routine and any special instructions closely. I also have personal experience caring for anxiety-prone dogs, as I have one of my own. Through that experience, I’ve learned successful strategies to help nervous or sensitive animals feel comfortable, safe, and calm in new situations. I’m patient, attentive to body language, and understand the importance of building trust with dogs and cats that need a little extra care. Jillian was absolutely incredible when watching my 2 cats. They were both extremely comfortable around her, and she made my boys feel safe. When one of them puked a few times during visits, she cleaned it up and was very communicative. For my first experience letting someone besides friends watch my cats, 10/10, highly recommend Jillian!!
Jillian does an amazing job of caring for your pets. My dog takes a little bit of extra care and patience and Jillian is her favorite person! She is attentive to let her out when needed and play with her when she’s got a lot of energy. She never misses a feeding or a walk. I would recommend Jillian to everyone I know!
Jillian is a supportive and kind pet owner. As an owner of two dogs, Jillian effectively manages multiple responsibilities and pets to ensure that they are cared for. She has watched my cat, Emma, for weeks without any issues. Emma loved her so much that the next time, Jillian watched her, Emma completely ignored me and went straight to Jillian when she arrived!
Jillian took amazing care of our four cats while we were away for a long weekend. It’s not easy managing four personalities, but she handled everything so well and kept us updated, which we really appreciated. We came home to relaxed, happy cats and could tell they had been well loved. We’re so grateful and would absolutely ask them again!
My husband and I travel frequently and needed a pet sitter we could trust and depend on. Jillian turned out to be the perfect fit. Our dog took to her immediately! She is always on time, loves to go on long walks with Cody, although he is getting up there in years and can't go as far as she would like, and gives him plenty of love! Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my routine since I work part-time from home. I typically work from 8:30 AM to 1:30pm on weekdays, but I’m often able to accommodate walks or quick drop-ins during that time if needed. My afternoons, evenings, and weekends are flexible, so I have plenty of time to focus on giving dogs and cats the attention, exercise, and care they deserve.

Since pets are often most comfortable in their own home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special preferences so your dog or cat feels relaxed and secure while you’re away. I’m very attentive to safety during walks and always keep dogs securely leashed and supervised. Because I have experience with an anxious dog of my own, I’m patient and sensitive to each dog’s personality and comfort level, helping them feel calm and comfortable in my care. I also treat every client’s home with the utmost respect and care. I’m mindful of keeping the space clean and secure, and I’m happy to help with small tasks while you’re away, such as bringing in mail, taking out the trash, or watering plants. You can also expect regular updates and photos so you always know how your pup is doing.

A typical day
A typical day focuses on keeping your pet happy, active, and comfortable in their normal routine. Walks are tailored to each dog’s energy level, whether that means a relaxed neighborhood stroll with plenty of sniff breaks or a longer walk to burn off extra energy. Beyond walks, I make sure dogs and cats get plenty of attention and engagement through playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of positive interaction. This could include games like fetch, tug-of-war, practicing simple commands, or puzzle toys if your animal enjoys mental stimulation. For pets that prefer a calmer day, I’m just as happy to spend time relaxing with them, giving them affection and companionship so they feel secure while their owner is away. My goal is always to make sure every animal gets the right balance of exercise, play, and comfort so they feel happy and cared for throughout the day.
