I'm home most of every day other than running an errand here and there. I have plenty of time to care for and play with your dog. My schedule is very flexible and I work my schedule around my own dog so that he is never alone for very long.

I have a year-old male Labrador retriever of my own and he loves having friends over to play with him in his fenced-in front yard. We live in a house on a farm surrounded by horses. My pup is crate trained and I have an extra crate on hand. I also have two purrfect kitties who hang out with me and my pup. My pets are like my kids and are very much a part of my family and I work my schedule around their needs.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or quirky behaviors that would be helpful to know ahead of time. I do have two older cats that live primarily on my front porch. They are accustomed to having dogs visit. Please also let me know if your dog has any anxiety issues (ie, thunderstorms, loud noises, etc.) so that I can prepare for that and be a comfort to him/her.
A typical day
I have tons of dog toys and brain stimulating dog puzzles. I have a young lab that requires a lot of exercise and attention so we play a lot of fetch with the ball, tire, frisbee, etc. I have tug toys and for rainy days, I bring out the dog puzzles and a treat dispensing ball that can be batted around the house with little bits of kibble coming out. Fun and rewarding! I have plenty of walking space on the farm that I live on in addition to my fenced in yard.

I've owned a wide variety of pets since I was very young. I used to manage a pet store and cared for a variety of animals there. I've cared for my own dogs from puppyhood to end of life care. I also have a horse and two cats. I love animals! I raised my children to love and value animals as members of our family.
