About: Hi There, My wife and I have ALWAYS been animal lovers our lives. I personally have always had a special connection with them. We started with a dream to love what we do so that we would never feel like we had to work. Four years later we are Happier than ever and love what we do. My partner Liz and I reside in a beautiful open, and clean ranch oasis in Bakersfield with our 3 dog friendly cats Koomie, Oreo and Phoenix, and our pups Po, Clovie and Tinkerbelle. Liz and I offer our home and our love and care for your fur kids while you are away. It brings us so much happiness and healing being around such wonderful animals. We will treat your animals as they were our own...spoiled. Our Home stays as ZEN and joyful as possible. The Grounds: Update: March 2022 We are in the process of upgrading what will be our newly sodded play yard. We are always thinking of ways to make this a true oasis for all souls. With that being said we have a very relaxing dog friendly back yard, with a large grass area and a large gazebo with waterfall and water walk way for dogs to play and cool off in. We also have a paved area with two fruit trees and a dog house under shade. Our many evergreens and three more fruit trees provide shade and comfort for our clients. We have tons of toys, balls, frisbees for play time! We love watching the dogs zoom around "the track" behind our bushes or just chasing butterfly's. We essentially have a mini botanic garden with plants and flowers for sniffing and cooling off under. When we are not playing or relaxing in the yard we go for pack walks. We usually go on two walks a day, AM/PM when the pavement is safe and cool. Our Home We have a beautiful and clean open style Ranch with travertine floors throughout. All of our guests are welcome to roam freely in our home and encouraged to be comfortable. All of our guests choose where they want to sleep. We have several memory foam large dog beds that we wash the covers on regularly. We also have an 8ft sectional couch along with two other couches they are allowed to cuddle on. We put down blankets and even open up our two guest rooms if they want to sleep in a big bed. For those clients who sleep in a crate we ask that you bring it and we will put them in out guest room. Myself or Liz will sleep in the guest room with them so they are not alone. Feeding: We ask that you provide your pups food so that we can keep their tummy's from getting upset. We do provide some fresh pet to put on top of their dry food so long as permitted. We also provide grain free treats and adhere to an dietary restrictions. All of our clients are fed in their own space and are always monitored. We also have experience with administering medicine or wound care etc. It's a win win for everyone.
