I have grown up with dogs, cats, and farm animals since the day I was born and my first babysitter was a dog! I practiced veterinary medicine for over 20 years with both small animals, small exotics, and large exotic (zoo) animals and worked as a veterinary technician and pet sitter before that. As a result, I am very capable as far as administering medications and fluids if needed. My own pets have included dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and reptiles and I have been active in animal rescue and rehab from a young age including caring for wild mammals and birds. I choose now to focus on dogs and cats but will also sit for the above-mentioned critters! I love cats and would love to have more cat clients!

Jill came over on a last minute request as our usual dog hotel was booked for the weekend. As a former pre-vet person myself, I was impressed she was a former vet. She took good care of our high-anxiety Jack Russell while we were away, sent updates, and even brought in my deliveries. We will definitely ask for her help in the future!
Jill came to our rescue when we had another sitter cancel on short notice. She was quick to respond, arrived promptly (with puppy treats!), and must have spoiled my crazy jrt puppy for hours that she didn’t want Jill to go yet at the end of the night.
Great experience with Jill, it was my first time hiring a dog sitter and my dog was not friendly with strangers. I was at ease after Jill came over and befriend him and was able to enjoy vacation knowing he was well taken care of.
Our pups LOVE Jill, and so do we. She is attentive, communicative, and obviously very knowledgeable about animals, being a retired vet. We would book with her again in a heartbeat!
