I work on my Washougal fixer house on/off, so my schedule is flexible. I have several ongoing Rover dog walks and drop in visits. My service radius is just 8 minutes from my house (near Washougal HS), which makes multiple client daily visits possible.

I always schedule a Meet & Greet with prospective Clients. This provides the opportunity to meet the dog(s) in their environment and to learn about their needs. During this meeting, I wear a mask, even though I had my Covid vaccine. When I am dog sitting overnight, I am very careful to follow my Clients instructions, including locking doors and using the alarm system, if applicable.

No breed preferences. Just let me know about any behavior/personality uniquenesses that I might need to know before caring for your dog. Also, reviewing any relevant medical information for your pet, like a bad hip, is important.
A typical day
I will walk your dog on his/her typical route. I pay attention to whether a dog is social with other dogs and will avoid other dogs if this is needed. I love dog parks, and for social dogs taking them to a dog park can be the highlight of their day, other than the moment their owners return home! My current favorite walking park is along the Columbia River at the Camas-Washougal Port.

Non smoker with over 40 yrs dog sitting + walking dogs for my Clients. I love each dog's unique personality and pay attention to your detailed instructions. I moved to the Portland area from Ohio back in early 90's. Currently, I do not have a dog, but my lovable Lucy was a spunky energetic black lab. If transporting your dog is needed (dog walks at Port?), I drive a Subaru Crosstrek with a rubber mat. I also honestly am a square peg with a clean driving record! Washougal and Camas (east of downtown) are ideal locations.

Jill is awesome! She took such good care of the dogs. The communication between us was just great and she kept me informed on how they were doing. She sent pictures and asked clarifying questions if she needed to know something to take better care of the dogs. They truly love her and I look forward to having her pet sit for me again in the very near future. Highly recommend her for your animals! She rocks!
