I will be in a self employed role from October so have flexibility to be at home for much of the day and would not leave dogs for longer than a few hours at a time.

We have a high fenced garden. I make sure that dogs are regularly exercised and given toilet breaks or if warm enough our conservatory doors can be left open too. I understand dogs require lots praise, attention and affection so your dog would be well looked after.

A typical day
Regular walks and play in garden. Also make sure interactive in the home with lots of affection and awareness. We will stick to meal times that owner provides and can adopt general home rules.

Pet care experience
We have our own dog Roxy who is a 4 year old Cavatzu. She is very friendly and loves other dogs. I work from home, can take dogs for regular walks and we have an enclosed garden making it safe to play and chill outside too. We have 2 children aged 8 and 10 who both love dogs. We allow Roxy who does not shed on sofa with throw on and she does sleep in our room so we do offer that if a dog is used to a relaxed approach however appreciate every owner has different rules so happy to follow whatever your dog is used to so they return with same habits.

Abel my two year old cocker spaniel has had such a lovely time staying with Jill and her family! He loved Roxy and the two dogs got on so well together. Jill sent me updates and photos each day which was lovely and I could see what a great time Abel was having. Jill is so relaxed and friendly and accommodated all of Abel’s needs- he loved her and had such a fun stay I’m not sure he really wanted to come home! I would definitely use Jill again and I would highly recommend her.
Great, friendly, helpful, looked after Archie well. Archie seemed to be living his best life there and was tired by the time he got home. Would definitely book again
