I was a Certified Veterinary Technician For 15+ years but also live on a few acreages on beautiful property on Sauvie Island. We have a Small Pug and a few cats use to dogs but also can be separated if necessary. We have a large country home and acreage for dogs to run or be walked. It is common for the dogs to be inside and outside throughout the day while we do daily activities. My husband works from home too. Moose our pug loves to play with other dogs!

Schedule
My husband works from home and I do some periodically throughout the year. We commonly take morning and evening walks in the local area with dogs on the leash to exercise them and ourselves. Location is about 4 min drive onto Sauvie Island from the bridge.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard but also have fenced in dog runs if need some time alone. Dogs stay in at night time and sleep upstairs or downstairs depending on the dog and comfort with other animals.

A typical day
We get up in the morning and get the day going with coffee and a walk outside on the property with the animals. We have a large patio out to back acreage and work inside or outside during the day depending on the weather. Do evening walks on the island or near home.
