My wife and I have known Jill for over 40 years. Her compassion and love of animals is unsurpassed. Your pet will be well cared for in her capable hands. We recommend her without reservation.

I highly recommend Jill as a knowledgeable, responsible and genuine loving caregiver to your fur family. I have full confidence my pets are being treated abe loved as much as her own when in her care.

All dogs are my Family.

I have been an animal lover from the get go. From dogs, cats, horses and turtles I love them all. My dog Blaze, is a tri-leg lab/border collie mix. I understand what it takes to commit to having a pet as part of your family.

I am retired so my schedule is ideal to suit anyone else's and understand the angst of leaving a pet in a kennel or for that manner with a ...

What Jill would like to know about your dog

I have no preferences, obviously friendly would be best. I would like to be sure of any dietary restrictions or needs along with any medications.

does your dog come when called or shows fear of any particular animal or other such as thunder/rain/car noises/ kids/ anyone who comes to the door.

Basically always best to know too much rather than not enough so anything that you feel pertinent to ensure a safe and happy partnership would be great.

When Jill watches your pet

Acadia park is a short walk and is perfect for walks along the trail. Stellarton has an offleash fenced area (*size of tennis court) for off leash fun, New Glasgow has a larger off leash but not fenced so dog would have to be one who came when called or kept on leash. Have a large yard that is treelined not fenced so again if not on leash dog would have to come when called.

Blaze loves to chase her ball and chew branches and bones.. what about your dog?

and of course, belly rubs and ear scratches are a given.

In home, I do have stairs but basically live on the ground level. Stairs are tough for Blaze.
