Bring your beloved dogs to our tranquil woodland retreat, nestled in the heart of Lenoir, NC. We have a deep affection for creatures of all sizes and shapes, and our passion for pet care began in Monroe, NC, where we ran an in-home dog-sitting service. Some of our cherished former clients have even joined us in our new home! We relish the time spent with each furry guest, taking the opportunity to understand their unique personalities. Our approach emphasizes positive reinforcement, allowing us to work with dogs of various backgrounds, from high-energy pups to those battling anxiety, aging gracefully, overcoming past traumas, or managing medical conditions. We know that exercise is key to channeling excess energy and preventing problem behaviors, and we ensure your pets have ample outdoor time for play and exploration. Indoors, there's no shortage of toys and stimulation to keep them engaged and entertained. We treat each pet as a cherished member of our own family, offering love, care, and attention. Jill was absolutely fantastic with our Addie. Her and her husband are extremely kind people, Addie almost didn't want to come home!!! They have a totally incredible spot any dog will have an absolute blast at and they make your pup a part of there family. Thank you guys for watching her for us for 2 weeks straight!!! You took a huge load of stress off of us and Addie we could tell had the time of her life with you. We will absolutely be in touch again. Thank you Jill!
She did amazing. Athena was smiling when I picked her up and in each picture she sent me while I was away. I will definitely be rebooking next time I travel and so will my mom.
Jill took great care of our two pups during a difficult time for our family. She was very flexible. I was unsure what day I could pick them up so we worked it out day by day. The pictures she sent were reassuring and a nice touch during a stressful time. I would definitely utilize her services again.
Jill took wonderful care of Scruffy while I was traveling, and I wouldn't hesitate to use her again. She was easy to communicate with, and I really appreciated that she handled pickup and drop-off at the bottom of her driveway since the rainy weather made the steep drive challenging. It made the whole process so much easier for me. Scruffy came home happy and relaxed, which is always the best sign that he was well cared for. I highly recommend Jill and will definitely book with her again.
Jill was wonderful! Our dog Hattie loved her stay. Hattie has anxiety and fears, and she seemed to warm up to Jill and her home right away. We received regular photos/videos of our girl having a great time!

Safety, trust & environment
Our fenced area provides a safe area to explore nature and exercise off-leash. A spacious and relaxing interior of the home is available for downtime. There will always be a loving person at home. We try to refrain from use of a kennel, unless this is what your pup is accustomed to. During their stay your precious pets are treated like another member of the household. We'll keep you well-informed with regular updates and promptly address any requests for additional information. We aim to provide you with peace of mind, knowing your dog is in excellent care when you're apart.
